Mostly, yes. There’s still the millions from shady foreign sources for his library. It wouldn’t be too big a deal except for his wife currently running our foreign policy department.
From memory…
–sold nuclear technology directly to the Chines
–sold (campaign cash) permission to Loral for them to send missile technology to the Chinese
–took millions of our tax dollars to pay for abortions here & abroad (most pro-abortion president ever)
–refused Sudanese offer of Bin Laden in handcuffs 2X
–disgraced the Oval Office
I miss Bill. A harmless horny cartoon character is far better than a dangerous socialist messiah.

It’s tough to say. Clinton was so obsessed with polls and triangulation nobody knew what he wanted to do outside of tax increases. Even now I’m not sure what he believes in besides his own ego.
Be careful about missing the days of BillJeff now that we’re in the era of Hopenchange. He crippled our national defense posture and severely damaged the military, not to mention sitting on his ass thinking about his legacy while psychopaths with Kalashnikovs were planning to fly airliners into the WTC. Obama will surely be a worse Prez than Clinton, but don’t forget his legacy is one of colossal negligence.
Bill Clinton is like that guy from high school who sends you an occasional email with decent porn at work. And is slick enough to give it a code name so you don’t get in any trouble or open it at the wrong time.
The real joke, of course, being that 42 has likely been in a hell of a lot more wombs than 41.
Kid from Brooklyn on January 28, 2009 at 10:42 PM
About at least one of them, the French would, regretfully (from their perspective), vehemently disagree with you.
Gosh, for Bill to go close to womb jokes…I have to give him credit, lots of credit, for even conceiving of doing that…Also, 41 should stay away from “ugly women” jokes. Still, this duo was strangely funny.
I love how these two get along. They’re both so much bigger Menschen than Jimmy Carter.
I remember disagreeing with Bill Clinton, often enough, not always, and being ashamed that he was our president, but I couldn’t get myself to hate him. He’s such a forlorn kid, one who’s never been really loved. He’s still searching for that big love.

In 1998 two Special Agents from the Dept. of Commerce visited my small company on a separate matter. In the middle of the conversation, I asked, “What about the Loral case?”
One agent hung his head and looked down at the table, avoiding my eyes, and said, “The White House took the Special Agents off the Loral case.” If Willy had been present, I would have popped him one in his big red nose and happily gone to jail, I was so pissed. I assumed that was treason during a quiet Cold War with China.

I agree. I’ve softened toward him in the years since he’s left office. And he may have been a slave to the polls but I think that kept his more liberal tendencies in check. Compared to Obama, Clinton is practically a Republican. Whatever negative things you can say about him — and there are plenty — the guy somehow remains likable. I get the feeling like I could sit down and have a plate of BBQ with Bubba and leave there feeling like I’d had a good time. If I had to share some arugula with Obama, I’m afraid I might be suicidal afterward. Besides, even though his foundation is no doubt up to its proverbial ears in graft and corruption, he really has done a lot to bring awareness to his various causes. In that respect, he’s been a good ex-president. And he and 41 are just a hoot together. I’ll never forget when W. announced that his dad and Clinton would be reprising their tsunami fundraising road show after Katrina hit and he introduced Bubba as “my new brother.” LOL I think it says a lot for the Bush family that they’ve managed to embrace a guy who for all intents and purposes should be their sworn political enemy. It once again speaks volumes to the class and maturity they possess.
Boy, thinking back at it, Clinton looks like the reincarnation of Reagan next to Obama. I didn’t think the presidency could’ve gone down hill since Bubba. Boy was I wrong.
lol when I saw the banner headline “Bush Story floors Clinton” and the caption on the bottom of the clip when it paused that says “the ugliest Woman I ever saw” I thought 41 must have been referring to Hillary.

As much as I dis-liked many of the Bush’s policies, they do seem genuine.
hillbillyjim, no worries. When she runs, again, we’ll go after them and their philosophies. This is about the 41/42 relationship.
Johan, so be it – he still yearns for the love he never had. Some can’t ever separate the politics from all other. Just view him as the flawed human scoundrel, in search of love.
Considering everyone IN THE WORLD knows Clinton as a poon hound when he hit the punch line “don’t worry about me lady” the joke would have fell flat as everyone just snickered and thought YEAH RIGHT..

If you can’t find Clinton hatable with all the evil he has done and/or enabled, what would it take for you to hate someone?
Bizarro No. 1, Stalin, Hitler et co., then and now, Osama bin Laden et co., Ceauşescu, the U.S.S.R. creeps, of then and now, Chavez, the Castros…you get the picture.
Bizarro, Black Adam, and others, I don’t excuse him for any of the failings, political, security, character. I just don’t hate him. I disagree vehemently with many of his philosophies and decisions, and I blame him for much. I never did, nor ever would vote for him, or his.
E pluribus tres: Bill, Hillary and Obama. This is our executive branch of today, make no mistake about it.

Yuck.
I feel like I am reading some Hollywood leftist gushing about how charming and effectively caring Fidel is.
Do you think either GHWB or Barbara have the courage to ask Billy boy about Juanita Broaddrick? I look at how the Bushes have embraced an unrepetent rapist like Bill, and rather than class and maturity, I see shallowness and stupidity.
Not to mention Vince Foster. I believe the overwheming evidence showing he was murdered, not the skeptics who have serious trouble accepting that the Clintons were capable of such an act despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
Clinton was the worst President we’ve ever had, based upon his traitorous dealings with China alone.
I miss Bill. A harmless horny cartoon character is far better than a dangerous socialist messiah.
Bubba’s starting to grow on me. It he’s okay by GHW Bush, then he’s okay by me.

I unknowingly missed this one the first time.
Actually, I don’t get the picture. I don’t quite know what level a villain like Clinton has to rise to first before you find him hatable.
Bill has raped/harassed more than one woman, left Monica out to dry as a “deranged stalker” (thankfully, she saved her dress), enabled the Rwandan disaster (how many people died there that he could have saved if he had any integrity?), contributed to the death of many innocents in Bosnia, sold out our country to the Chinese, I could go and on and on…you get the picture.
What exactly is so different about him vs. the people you listed that makes him unhatable?
I never could stand either of them. Didn’t much care for Bush even before he became Reagan’s VP.
That GHWB could be chums with WJC only further decreases the little respect that I had for him; I didn’t like his politics and machinations, but I at least thought that he has some ‘class’ until he started hanging with Clinton after the Tsunami….. I can’t believe that Barbara approves of it.
I never would have supported ‘W’ Bush for the 6 years that I vigorously did, if he hadn’t fooled me into believing he was NOT a ‘chip off the old block’ New World Order guy.
Bill probably isn’t a total Leftist as Hillary…. (Too much of a narcissist and sybarite to be a hardcore Marxist, IMHO). But he is still a completely amoral opportunist around whom neither your wife, sister, daughter or wallet (or national security) are safe.
Despite all of his faults, I don’t think that Bill Clinton was half the liberal George W. Bush was. It drives some of my left-leaning friends insane when I compare the “messiah” to the “fascist dictator,” but I truly believe Barack Obama — far more than John McCain — will be Bush’s 3rd term.
I remember disagreeing with Bill Clinton, often enough, not always, and being ashamed that he was our president, but I couldn’t get myself to hate him. He’s such a forlorn kid, one who’s never been really loved. He’s still searching for that big love.

Johan Klaus on January 29, 2009 at 12:35 AM
As much as I dis-liked many of the Bush’s policies, they do seem genuine.
Johan Klaus on January 29, 2009 at 12:40 AM
hillbillyjim, no worries. When she runs, again, we’ll go after them and their philosophies. This is about the 41/42 relationship.
Johan, so be it – he still yearns for the love he never had. Some can’t ever separate the politics from all other. Just view him as the flawed human scoundrel, in search of love.
Entelechy on January 29, 2009 at 12:41 AM
Gentlemen, go to your rooms. Not funny for ex-presidents. Have some self respect.
Mason on January 29, 2009 at 12:44 AM
Considering everyone IN THE WORLD knows Clinton as a poon hound when he hit the punch line “don’t worry about me lady” the joke would have fell flat as everyone just snickered and thought YEAH RIGHT..
C-Low on January 29, 2009 at 12:44 AM
Wenn nur Jimmy Carter war ein Munchkin.
Ein Maskottchen würde er. :)
Kini on January 29, 2009 at 12:47 AM
I can see it now.
The both of them taking a bow and saying….
I really could you know….

Johan, Miss E, Kini…
Great! Just great! I can’t master English and now you expect me to dive into German?
Limerick on January 29, 2009 at 12:59 AM
Nah. I think I’ll remind everyone who and what the Clintons are. I know Hillary is better on foreign policy than Obama, but having her as Sec. of State makes me dread the coming apologetic US stance even more.
Coming Soon: We’re sorry, and oh yeah, here’s some money…
hillbillyjim on January 29, 2009 at 1:04 AM
How do you say “Oy!” in German?
hillbillyjim on January 29, 2009 at 1:06 AM
I have a hard with English also my friend :)
As much as these two seem to get along, I can’t help but wonder how many worlds apart they are.
Kini on January 29, 2009 at 1:09 AM
Oh Eh? Bubba is a wandering eye and she… she’s a pantsuit in disguise.

All’s good. I married Dharma. There is something to be said about Ying and Yang. :) (And a damn good Dharma she is!)
Limerick on January 29, 2009 at 1:12 AM
Just don’t tell us about the yoga classes and the alfalfa sprouts. :-)
Politics, and life, make for strange bedfellows.
hillbillyjim on January 29, 2009 at 1:17 AM
Er…I guess I should mention she is Dharma with a 5.56.
I don’t begrudge George Sr anything. What he see’s in Bill is beyond me as Bill will always be Modecai Jones to me. But hey, what the hell, George earned the right to pick his friends.

Opposites attract and move toward the middle. Being the other of two complementary or mutually exclusive things, like the opposite sex; Altogether different, as in nature, quality, or significance: but one together in the end.
Yes, there is something to be said indeed.

Dana Carvey ain’t as funny as he used to be.
Johnny 100 Pesos on January 29, 2009 at 1:28 AM
‘some people can do things and others can’t'? Imagine Bush trying to do what Clinton did. He’d have been turned into a pariah.
Phoenician on January 29, 2009 at 1:41 AM
If you can’t find Clinton hatable with all the evil he has done and/or enabled, what would it take for you to hate someone?
Bizarro No. 1 on January 29, 2009 at 1:57 AM
Clinton was terrible as president. He hit the snooze bar on terrorism.
Unforgiveable.
Black Adam on January 29, 2009 at 2:03 AM
Bizarro No. 1, Stalin, Hitler et co., then and now, Osama bin Laden et co., Ceauşescu, the U.S.S.R. creeps, of then and now, Chavez, the Castros…you get the picture.
Entelechy on January 29, 2009 at 2:03 AM
Bizarro, Black Adam, and others, I don’t excuse him for any of the failings, political, security, character. I just don’t hate him. I disagree vehemently with many of his philosophies and decisions, and I blame him for much. I never did, nor ever would vote for him, or his.
E pluribus tres: Bill, Hillary and Obama. This is our executive branch of today, make no mistake about it.
Entelechy on January 29, 2009 at 2:06 AM
Bizarro No. 1 on January 29, 2009 at 2:13 AM
Ad idem
Kini on January 29, 2009 at 2:21 AM
Not to mention Vince Foster. I believe the overwheming evidence showing he was murdered, not the skeptics who have serious trouble accepting that the Clintons were capable of such an act despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
Clinton was the worst President we’ve ever had, based upon his traitorous dealings with China alone.
You people are too easily bewitched. Those sentiments are downright embarrassing.
Bizarro No. 1 on January 29, 2009 at 2:24 AM
I already see that you don’t hate him. However, I asked you what it would take for you to hate someone who has done as much evil as WJC has.
What does love (or his lack of receiving it) have to do with it?
Bizarro No. 1 on January 29, 2009 at 2:32 AM
Entelechy on January 29, 2009 at 2:34 AM
Bizarro No. 1 on January 29, 2009 at 2:56 AM

Conspiracy! :oP
DannoJyd on January 29, 2009 at 4:19 AM
Despite all of his faults, I don’t think that Bill Clinton was half the liberal George W. Bush was. It drives some of my left-leaning friends insane when I compare the “messiah” to the “fascist dictator,” but I truly believe Barack Obama — far more than John McCain — will be Bush’s 3rd term.
eaglescout1998 on January 29, 2009 at 5:05 AM
It sure wasn’t the Frost Queen. I don’t see her being the big love type . . . Without getting that “I just threw up a little in my mouth” feeling, that is.
52Ranger on January 29, 2009 at 5:29 AM
Obama’s biggest success isn’t becoming the first Black President, its making the GOP like the Clintons.

Well, I’ve been saying for a couple of months now:
If Clinton was the first ‘black’ President….
Then 0bama is apparently the first black ‘Clinton’.
