I don’t think it is fair to say that Barbara Bush is unattractive. She was an old woman even back when George became Reagan’s VP. But Barbara Bush really wasn’t a bad looking woman when she was younger. She just really didn’t age well at all.

You’re right about that, but part of the reason she didn’t age well might have something to do with the fact that she has Grave’s Disease, which is a thyroid disorder and would cause weight gain and the bugginess of her eyes.

But as for Barbara Bush, she may not be a beach babe now, but as for a woman who has been faithful to her husband and loves her family, she’s priceless.

What speaks volumes about him, that might go over your head, is that he married a beautiful women that suffered and aged. Through all of that, the depth of their love has kept him in awe of his wife. She has been the inspiration of two men that served this nation as president during tough times. Beauty is truly skin deep it would seem.

Barbara Bush is one of the great ladies in American history. She was Second Lady for the 8 Reagan years, First Lady for 4 years and mother of the President for 8 years. That is a long time to be in the public eye and she has handled it with a dignifying grace. Barbara has an open invitation for dinner at my home any night of the week; when she comes, we’ll invite Jenfidel at 7:52 too. The rest of you on the Barbara thread can come only after you demonstrate your superior skills at aging well.

I’ll have to agree with jgapinoy on this one, Slick Willy is a slime and he disgraced our country with his oval office antics, then he sold our nation’s security down the river by allowing OBL to continue breathing and by stripping our military and intelligence agencies allowing our enemies (OBL et al) to plot, plan, and carry out 9-11 all for the sake of having that “budget surplus” he was always bragging about!

I don’t care how “funny” Clintoon’s jokes are, in my book he will always be a tool, a disgrace, and a traitor to our republic!
