At what point does the “blame Bush” tactic run out of gas? In 2 years, we will finally have an election where there is no Bush, no Obama.

These bullying useful idiots have zero ability to look at themselves with any objectivity.

However, Matthews did sandbag the segment, and made sure Armey could not finish his point.

To Dick Army’s credit, he got brought up the actual record on welfare reform before the show wrapped.

Get out of the MSM, and bring the message of true conservatism to the people!

You might disagree that Sarah Palin is a Reagan conservative, and you may think being a governor and vice presidential nominee are insignificant leadership experience, but that’s why Sarah Palin is both of those things and calls herself a woman instead of a girl.

You said Sarah Palin is no Reagan. I disagreed. You said you wanted a leader, and I pointed out Sarah Palin was the Republican Vice Presidential nominee this year, and she is a sitting governor. Both are leadership positions.

Exhibit A: Why does any self respecting conservative bother to go on to MSNBC? It makes no logical sense.
Exhibit B: Well here’s ONE reason … the GOP lacks the ability to vault over these nutroots to talk directly to the public via New Media. Let’s not point to those forgettable Web ads that are up for 20 minutes god knows where on the Internet.
The absolute vacuum is far too much for a bedrock Reaganite to stomach.

I’ve been saying this for the past 20 years! There is no logical reason, political or otherwise, for conservatives, whether they be Republican or no, to agree to this kind of sandbagging. It happens every time!
Look how often Armey was interrupted, and how often his comments were mischaracterized on air. He won’t have a chance to answer them since Matthews made sure he cut the segment off. And, what will the people see? A conservative getting hammered again. We know Armey, and every other conservative, has better arguments, but you won’t get a chance to express them on these shows. You will be talked over, you will be shouted down, and you will be shut down before you can make a point.
It is time, way past time, for conservatives to bypass the MSM and go straight to the people through the avenue of new media. Commercial air time, radio time, internet videos, etc.

Shut em down! Without us, they can no longer claim to be “objective.”

Now of course, they did that to get people all stirred up and mad at the “bad guy,” who was really just playing a part. But these liberal shows with a conservative guest seem to do the same kind of partiality. You’ll notice in that second clip that Joan Walsh went on and on, and when Armey finally got a chance to respond, he had about 15 seconds, barely enough time to point out that Clinton took credit for passing welfare reform only after vetoing it twice, then acting like it was his own idea.
