If you are willing to pay for a subscription to Sirius (or I suppose XM), Mark Levin is carried. Unfortunately, on Sirius Patriot, Levin’s show follows Hannity. I wish Sirius would drop Hannity and replace his show with another. Glenn Beck perhaps.
eaglescout1998 on January 27, 2009 at 4:51 AM
Oh, yeah? It’s just exactly what a true conservative says when the first commie has just been sworn in as POTUS. (FDR was pretty much a commie, too, but O is much more up front about it).

The only thing I want him to succeed at is keeping
America safe. Assuming that our safety is somewhere on his list of “to dos”, that is the only thing I want him to achieve.
Our safety is, as far as I can see?…not one of his top concerns.
The rest of his agenda just scares the crap outta me…he thinks that Global Warming is real! Nah…he knows better, but it makes a great vehicle to redistribute wealth so, he’ll continue to embrace it as long as possible.
What really worries him is what the Muslim world thinks of him,(not us mind you…him). I’d much rather he was worrying about the threat that their warped religion poses to the free world. Ain’ gonna happen.
Islam is a lie and truth is killing it.

Mark Levin offers his show for free on itunes people. Just download it and listen whenever you want.
Ampersand on January 27, 2009 at 5:48 AM
Bill Bennett is an intellectual coward, more concerned with being well thought of in the right circles than speaking truth. His show runs in the morning here, opposite Mike Gallagher’s. Even though he’s a stammering whiner, I listen to Gallagher over Bennett because Mike is at least an honest stammering whiner.
SKYFOX on January 27, 2009 at 5:50 AM
Why not in the first week? Did the Democrats not talk about the need to move fast?
The executive orders are before us NOW. The trillion-dollar-porkfest is before us NOW. All their awful promises to give us more of the wrong medicine. And get this: some of us didn´t sign up for fundamental change to America.
el gordo on January 27, 2009 at 6:23 AM
Bambi won’t have time for anything like that. He’ll be too busy writing some more of his “brilliant” Google cut-and-paste speeches so that he can rake in millions in speaking fees on the lecture circuit. Oh, and he’ll also be writing a third fictionalized autobiography (in which he’ll explain how he really wasn’t America’s worst president as most people will by then consider him; he was just a tragic victim of America’s raaacist culture).
AZCoyote on January 27, 2009 at 6:55 AM
Now I feel like an idiot… I forgot about that.
With most of the talk show hosts that I’ve listened to, one would have to purchase a “premium membership” to download shows.
eaglescout1998 on January 27, 2009 at 7:01 AM
I have often heard the liberal left praising Obama as the second coming of FDR…. but I wonder if they realize that FDR secretly tried and executed German spies during WWII. I wonder if they remember that FDR had both German and Japanese interned into camps. And they say Bush was a warmonger.
eaglescout1998 on January 27, 2009 at 7:08 AM
Poor Bill has fallen into the trap of giving responses to soundbites instead of listening to what was said in it’s entirety and in context.
Intellectual laziness.
pugwriter on January 27, 2009 at 7:20 AM
Bennett is a boring, weak intellectual babbler that can’t deal with real confrontation.
rplat on January 27, 2009 at 7:30 AM
Sink me, dear fellow, but you’ve excellent tastes when it comes to first names.

lizzee on January 27, 2009 at 7:37 AM
Bennett has been all wrong in his assessment of Obama, which is: he’s not hard left, he is more “complex” (read, nuanced) and therefore is someone conservatives can work with.
Based on Obomber’s first week, I’d say Bennett is exactly wrong. Obomber is hard left. Nothing particularly “complex” about it.

BO’s a communist plain and simple. He will do whatever he can get away with.
Mojave Mark on January 27, 2009 at 7:55 AM
OK, let’s just use plain old Communist. As in, I hope the Communist Obama and Communism fails.
How about coming this fall, the new hit TV show “Are you smarter than an Obama voter”
tarpon on January 27, 2009 at 8:04 AM
I also want him to fail.
When he said “I won” then “I want him to fail” is perfectly acceptable.
I expect it when the left plays stupid (not much of a stretch), when it comes to comments by Rush, or anyone else they can’t actually argue with.
Honestly, it gets pretty tedious listening to the phony outrage. It’s even worse when you see the nuance attached to any comment made by a liberal.
I don’t get to listen to Rush a lot, but I knew what the hell he was talking about. I did here part of his show in the car the other day, and he made a good point; only 1 person asked him for a response directly (Byron York).
Some bonehead like Kerry makes a remark, and he get hours of air time to try to explain it away (not to mention the “journalists” themselves scramble to cover the liberals).
reaganaut on January 27, 2009 at 8:27 AM
hear* not here…
reaganaut on January 27, 2009 at 8:28 AM
Maybe Bill is trying to be “relevant”. He should worry more about what Obama is doing and less about what Rush is saying. However, it does get him TV face time because Lord knows his radio show sucks. Does anyone listen to it? He drones on and on like a bad college professor in that monotone voice.
woodman on January 27, 2009 at 8:32 AM
Bill Bennett wanted Rush to exercise decorum. There is only one problem with that. The last 8 years it was the sitting President showing decorum while he was being abused by the Democratic Party and their lackeys in the MSM. We all know what Rush was saying. His proposal yesterday was delivered in a very mild manner and was sharp as a sword at the same time. Mr. Bennett needs to worry less about his job at CNN and what they’ll think of him.
kingsjester on January 27, 2009 at 8:34 AM
Go here – WMAL 630 and you can listen to Mark every night from 6-8.
abcurtis on January 27, 2009 at 8:36 AM
I am willing to bet “Porkchop” Bennett is betting on a successful BO administration and he’s betting on the over and under for the 4th race at the local dog racing track.
This dipsh!t is such a libtard tool.
David in ATL on January 27, 2009 at 8:39 AM
Bet nobody mentioned this:
Rush’ comment was a great opening salvo since we can now discuss WHETHER and HOW the Messiah has failed as we go.
Creates a win and loss column. The media lost their loss column for this clown. Along with their brains.
IlikedAUH2O on January 27, 2009 at 8:42 AM
I don’t know if it’s as much “I want him to fail” as it is knowing that socialist policies always fail, and damage the country, and you don’t want to see them implemented.

SKYFOX on January 27, 2009 at 5:50 AM
Right on your are Skyfox… Let’s not forget that Bill Bennett is one of the pundits Rush called out by name several months ago; called out for being one of those intellectuals who is demanding that the GOP redefine itself, dropping the Conservative label.
Keemo on January 27, 2009 at 9:15 AM
Decorum to the Democrats and to the Left is an open invitation to bully and pick off vacillating Republicans and to impose its agenda on a complaisant opposition.
In other words Messiah, please come into my house any time you want and you will have free run to do whatever you want to it, despite the fact that I own the house (the Constitution)and my rights to it cannot be revoked.
The GOP must stand up to Obama and tell him that it will not permit him to transform America into a ’socialist paradise’ akin to Castro, Chavez or Mao.
technopeasant on January 27, 2009 at 9:32 AM
Rush was responding to a chorus of conciliatory conservatives who said they wanted Obama to “succeed”.
Buy Danish on January 27, 2009 at 9:44 AM
I think we are confusing things. I do not want Obama to fail as President, because if he fails ordinary men and women pay. However, I do not want him to succeed in achieving all of his policy goals. It is not the same thing.
Terrye on January 27, 2009 at 10:00 AM
if he succeeds ordinary men and women pay.
right4life on January 27, 2009 at 10:07 AM
Bennet is wrong, stupid and irrelevant. Fail Hussein! Fail on Al-aribya TV, at that!
dogsoldier on January 27, 2009 at 10:37 AM
And Italian-Americans, btw.
Bennett is just another scared of being labeled. He should have used his face time to explain what Rush meant, not give Rush’s enemies fodder.
mankai on January 27, 2009 at 10:43 AM
This is true. I canned my subscription to Sat radio (Sats have been paid for through subscriptions and the advertising that “doesn’t exist”, time to make it free). I only had it for Levin, Ingraham, and Savage. Levin being the key program, I just started adding it to my podcast.
leetpriest on January 27, 2009 at 11:27 AM
MORE from Rush. Not less.
Bennet has fallen head first into the Fool’s trap. So now Bennet is a fool.
notagool on January 27, 2009 at 11:35 AM
Who cares what this tool thinks?!?
He’s a typical ball-less faux-Conservative. The ranks of which is growing here at HotAir with Ed, Allah and some posters falling in love with the Messiah, forgetting our Conservative roots, Reagan, American exceptionalism.
Rush is, as usual, dead on correct. Obama MUST fail!
Mark Garnett on January 27, 2009 at 11:44 AM
Bill Bennett is a complete douche. He walked into a convenience store I was in and went straight to the front of the line.
Don’t you know who I am?
Douchebag.
epluribusunum on January 27, 2009 at 11:48 AM
How sad that such an educated man, with quite the background in education itself, either can’t or didn’t read and comprehend what Rush actually said. There was nothing complicated about it.
xblade on January 27, 2009 at 11:51 AM
You know, Bennett is really, really, really smart. Can’t stand his pompus ass.
LtE126 on January 27, 2009 at 12:08 PM
What Rush was talking about was a socialistic policy that is doomed to failure. We are in our economic situation because of liberal policies, not sound conservative practices. Republicans are themselves to blame for insane fiscal iresponsibility. If you can’t afford it, don’t buy. Something Congress has no concept of and is, in the end, the culprit!
whsiii on January 27, 2009 at 12:40 PM
What, you think Ayers doesn’t have time to write another Obama autobiography ?
18-1 on January 27, 2009 at 12:54 PM
I hope he succeeds in changing his mind.
Yeah, I stole the line, but I bet Biden would be ok with that

In the Name of Obama, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, I present greetings and blessing upon you.
So, Bill, you want The One to succeed and institute out-and-out socialism? Good to know.
