Alert the Media: Rhod Sharp, BBC

posted at 6:50 pm on January 26, 2009 by Ed Morrissey

During the Republican Convention, I had the pleasure of doing regular appearances on BBC Radio’s Up All Night with Rhod Sharp, their “presenter”, in the British parlance.  I wound up doing the show with a number of luminaries, such as Dave Barry and Paul Shanklin, and if you’ve ever had to appear with two talented comedians like that and play straight man, you’d remember it too — and fondly.  I did a quick pre-recorded interview with Rhod earlier today, and I believe it will be played at 9 pm ET, but the show starts at 8 pm ET and lasts for four hours; it could run at any time.  If I get a better sense of timing, I’ll update the post.

Great to hear it!

And it’s also the 2nd promising thing I’ve heard regarding the BBC in a while… (The 1st was them refusing to air the Gaza-thon.)
