I posted this on another thread but I though it was interesting so I will repeat. Sen. Inhofe was on Bill Bennett’s show yesterday and he said that the original TARP bill amounted to $5000.00 per tax filing family in the U.S. Hard to believe that it wouldn’t have been better spent with the tax payers but certainly should not have gone to failing banks.

This is all about the brazen purchase of a very large portion of the electorate to ensure that the Democrats will always, or at least for the next generation or two, have the loyalty of over half the population to maintain Democrat power in Washington unhindered. So long as these who view government as Santa Claus are given perks for loyalty, the evil conservatives will remain in the minority, demonized, as they are by Reich, already, as being insufficiently good enough to receive government stimuli because of their jaded, racist, anti-American (anti-socialist) thinking…those nasty bitter clingers, you know.
This method has worked well in the past in other countries over the past century, by fascist leaders, so why ignore a good model?

Reich also states these are skills that relatively easy to learn. Typical liberal elite, assuming plumbers, electricians, road and bridge builders, etc., have jobs that anyone without an education can pick up with a couple hours of training.

I love this country. Let´s spend billions of dollars on contracts that are forcibly awarded to those who cannot complete them on time or proficiently, thereby doubling the cost in the name of fairness.
