Video: Michelle on the “My President Is Black” kerfuffle
posted at 7:05 pm on January 22, 2009 by Allahpundit
Two clips, one of her explaining the problem and the other of Dennis Miller arguing that Obama himself is the solution. If you’re looking for the uncensored vid of Jay-Z and Young Jeezy ringing in the post-racial era, you’ll find it at MM’s site. Along with a lesson in tolerance from HuffPo for a far-right “whore.”

Actually, there he was trading on the perception of victimhood and the outdated notion that most whites are racist.
baldilocks on January 22, 2009 at 9:10 PM
Unfortunately, I think only people on our side of the political isle agree that it’s outdated, which to me is only further proof of his failure as the post-racial president.
Esthier on January 22, 2009 at 9:14 PM
The failed Obama presidency has begun.
Mojave Mark on January 22, 2009 at 9:20 PM
The thing that hasn’t sunk in with the victocrats is this: if most whites were racist, O wouldn’t be the president.
baldilocks on January 22, 2009 at 9:24 PM
Fair points – I went too far in my dislike for victimhood. I find it very very distasteful.
Ares on January 22, 2009 at 9:27 PM
Part and parcel, Baldi.
Ares on January 22, 2009 at 9:30 PM
Completely agree. Really.
True, but then they “console” themselves with the fact that he didn’t get over 50% of white male votes.
Esthier on January 22, 2009 at 9:30 PM
I wonder why Noneya hasn’t chimed in yet..
BigWyo on January 22, 2009 at 9:33 PM
If I recall pretty much the only people saying Obama would bring a post-racial era were….conservatives!
crr6 on January 22, 2009 at 9:52 PM
Anyone remember the rant in the movie Bulworth, where Beatty says he’d like to see everyone of all races just keep ****ing each other until we’re all the same color? This topic reminded me of that.
mikeyboss on January 22, 2009 at 9:55 PM
Nice performance and nice people in that club… where’s a senior citizen with a foot stuck on the gas instead of the brake when you need one?
D2Boston on January 22, 2009 at 10:12 PM
First of all, thanks for posting the videos Allah. I appreciate it.
Michelle nails it, as always. The hatred of whites from Jay-Z and the other moron is simply stunning. God help them both. Civilization can not progress while burdened with the unbridled hatred we heard in that clip.
Zorro on January 22, 2009 at 10:13 PM
I really am impressed with Michelle and i love the way that she keeps making the Left mad by pointing out over and over that O is a fraud and the Left is the party of hate!
CCRWM on January 22, 2009 at 10:15 PM
Yeah, I think you’re the only one here recalling that.
Esthier on January 22, 2009 at 10:24 PM
I like black people and I do have a lot of black friends. None of them like the rappers and certainly don’t act like these idiots do…
CCRWM on January 22, 2009 at 10:36 PM
I’ve always thought that African-Americans identify Obama as such because he’s a Democrat. If he were a Republican they’d hate him. He’d be White then, and just another “Uncle Tom”. Were they proud about Colin Powell or Condoleezza Rice? No! They were called such racial slurs as, “Aunt Jemima, and House N****”, just to name a few. Not a lot of pride there, but if they’d been Democrats….I’m just sayin’
McKenz59 on January 22, 2009 at 10:39 PM

SunSword on January 22, 2009 at 10:51 PM
Even though she is left-handed, I see from the vid. That made me laugh.

baldilocks on January 22, 2009 at 11:43 PM
Do you have to try to be that obtuse or does it come naturally?
Good gravy! You lefty loons are all psychologically damaged.
csdeven on January 23, 2009 at 12:00 AM
Hip hop artists are professional race-baiters. They are in bed with the Democratic party.
I like music, and I appreciate hip hop expressing urban plight. I lived in Bushwick for five years, and this music is alive and well here in Toronto.
But the race-baiting is not helpful. It takes away from the only positive from this election: the civil rights victory.
Seriously, if I whore myself out to pay my bills, it’s not a lifestyle I would recommend to anyone or want for my kids — and that’s what this is, in essence.
Shame on them. Shame on Democrats who tacitly approve of this, because when Obama’s vote-buying and socialism means a more expansive dependent class, these people will look at their skin and vote straight-ticket for welfare. They will never be able to help themselves or advance. It will keep getting worse until this country has been utterly destroyed.
chunderroad on January 23, 2009 at 12:04 AM
How about a T-Shirt saying:
MY PRESIDENT IS
BLACKHUMANSince Barry is supposedly so post-racial?
profitsbeard on January 23, 2009 at 12:58 AM
Excellent post.
Nonfactor on January 23, 2009 at 1:11 AM
We shouldn’t care what any rapper says. These people make money by being classless rubes with no musical talent save beat boxing. The entire industry is based on the image of the angry black man, so what he said was only normal and expected. It should go in one ear and out the other.
Of course, getting obama to throw him under the bus would be nice. But don’t count on it.
keep the change on January 23, 2009 at 1:26 AM
Absolutely true, as it is of most “protected class” groups. Witness how women on the left behaved toward Sarah Palin. I dare say their viciousness far surpassed that of the male politicians and “journalists” on the left side of the aisle. Just one episode of “The View” or Campbell Brown’s show ought to be enough to drive that point home. These shrews think Gov. Palin is The Most Dangerous Woman in the World. Their hyperbole only lends credence to the stereotype that all women are hysterical, overly emotional drama queens and further supports what I’ve always believed, which is that the traditional feminist movement and its modern day followers have done more to regress the place of women in America than ANYTHING men or us girls on the right ever have. As far as I’m concerned, Gov. Palin represents precisely what I thought we were supposed to be striving for all of these years: She is a successful career woman and mother with a solid marriage to a man she can count on to take an equal role in running the household and raising their children. She made that CHOICE because it was available to her. I thought the left was all about CHOICE? I suppose that’s true only when one chooses what THEY think is the correct path.
NoLeftTurn on January 23, 2009 at 1:33 AM
I didn’t see this earlier. Knowing you, you have to be just pulling my leg. Please tell me you are.
baldilocks on January 23, 2009 at 2:15 AM
Thank you for saying “bigoted” Michelle.
It’s time we quit dancing around the topic with words like “reverse-racism.” “Reverse-racism” sounds like it’s payback for something we did, like maybe there is a reasonable reason for it. But every racist has “reasonable reasons” for their racism, just ask them.
This is just racism, it’s just bigotry, pure and simple. It needs to be addressed as such.
29Victor on January 23, 2009 at 3:29 AM
The first vid, MM is Left-handed. Ok, why point this out? LOL!!!
Yakko77 on January 23, 2009 at 3:57 AM
I think both O’Reilly and Miller are completely delusional thinking that 0Bama is going to actually elevate the discourse and work to close the racial divide. This song’s been out since the Democrat convention. Not one single solitary word from 0Bama denouncing it or attempting to distance himself from it. (If I am mistaken, if there is one single word, I’ll be glad to see an example.)
The Democrat party is defined by identity politics. Racism is a vital part of who they are. 0Bama is probably singing to himself, “My President is black, my Lambo’s blue…” and enjoying the heck out of it.
knivek on January 23, 2009 at 5:00 AM
If Palin becomes Prez in 4 years, it might be too much for these folks since gender and race is all they care about.
dec5 on January 23, 2009 at 6:58 AM
Ok, so Dennis drank the koolaid. That’s a shame.
Michelle mentioned it’s rampant on college campuses, but it’s almost as bad at elementary schools. I’m in the midst of a little bicker fest with my son’s school administration. Apparently they think it’s ok to have an all day cake party on hussein’s inauguration day and keep the party running all week long. My son’s teacher claims the school is following district policy in the study of inaugurations. She has yet to answer my question if they would have given the same celebratory vitriol to a McCain win, or if they did the same for Bush four years ago.
It’s sick.
ErinF on January 23, 2009 at 7:31 AM
Hey, I saw Obama sign something, and HE’S left-handed. What can this mean?
manwithblackhat on January 23, 2009 at 7:33 AM
American Blacks are just as bigoted as American Whites if not more but it ain’t cool to talk about that.
Ernest on January 23, 2009 at 9:19 AM
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again:
Martin Luther King is glad he’s dead.
guitarguy on January 23, 2009 at 9:20 AM
Now might be a good time to point out that with a white mother and a Kenyan father there’s a good chance that Barack’s ancestors owned and/or sold slaves themselves. I’m not sure MLK would consider this a major “change.”
fiscallyconservative on January 23, 2009 at 9:36 AM
Well, uh, to JZ, your president is black, but I can also say MY president is white, right? Since he is literally half of one and half of the other in equal measure?
HE IS JUST AS WHITE AS HE IS BLACK PEOPLE!
max1 on January 23, 2009 at 10:06 AM
Why, oh why is anyone surprised?? They are what they are and this clearly shows the thug clueless and classless mentality of these folk. They will not change it has to do more with $$$$ than politics. Robert Reich is just following the Uberleft line that has been in place for over forty years. Why are so many people surprised is beyond me. What people should be thinking about and talking about is the members of Rev. Wright and the hundreds of similar church members throughout America as well as the thousands audience members screaming their approval of this racist, hateful and classless perpetuation of negative race relations in this country.

2 babes, conservative views, what’s not to like?
kirkill on January 23, 2009 at 11:20 AM
The HATE is here boys and girls.
The new OBAMA public policy is “Stick It To Whitey”.
Kuffar on January 23, 2009 at 3:00 PM
Actually, a majority of presidents have been left-handed, at least accounting for the last 80 years or so when parents stopped trying to force handedness on their children.
In fact, I think I’ve read that southpaws tend to be smarter and more high-achieving in general than right-handers, at least in proportion to their numbers in the general population. No surprise that Michelle is among them. ;)
NoLeftTurn on January 23, 2009 at 4:00 PM
Your president is half black, you racist fools. And you think the lies are now over? Hah! Grow a brain, live a day in the real world, and then come back to me.
Grafted on January 23, 2009 at 4:50 PM
With a few exceptions this has been a civilised thread – the antithesis of what HuffPo and Kos would have offered.
This is one of the great things about HA.

Bill leave the obscure reference jokes to Dennis.

Memo – When you see celebrity thugs of a certain color make jerks out of themselves to the cheers of a crowd you are supposed to ignore it.
When “someone” allegedly says something rude at a Palin rally, make a big deal out of it.
“Ugly under-belly” indeed. Thanks to Michelle for having the courage to call it out. She is my hero!
