Maybe you have not been reading comments here at HotAir very long. Maybe you just have a poor capacity for recall. But I cannot believe that you have never heard that Palin’s gender was a net plus for Republicans.

Every time Michael Steele is mentioned as a candidate, his race is cited. When Hillary was the presumptive Dem nominee, Palin’s name began to bandied about as an anti-dote to Dem IDeification. Her will to raise Trig and obvious commitment as a strong mom were oft-cited points of praise on this blog and on the campaign trail. What man has been praised so greatly for his being a dad?

Look, I get it. You don’t like me calling out Republicans. But, what exactly are you refuting about my comment? Do you think that only Dems are capable/guilty of ID politics? So be it. I can not out-argue someone so convinced of their own verity. You win.

As far as making stuff up “again,” please cite where I have done this in the past. I love a good laugh at my own expense.

Remember the irony of a “civil-rights” huckster crying that the Illinois seat MUST go to a black, because there were no blacks at all in the senate (“sob!”)? Nevermind the fact that the seat formerly held by a black man was only vacant due to it’s occupant having achieved the highest office in the land. So the great criminal tragedy of a blackless senate was the fault of, who? The clowns that voted Obama into the White House? Farce has no meaning to these freaks.

We have schmucky Schumer, he qualified as a girly man. Why should we have two women in Senate office for this state?
