My opinion on vetting is that many Republicans try to vet to find the problems, then the person committing the infraction is fired/resigns.

Liberals (at least some of them) see “vetting” as looking for problems that people know about or that will come out. They don’t want to really dig and find out all the skeletons. If it can stay hidden, no problem! It’s all about the image, not the substance.

Of course, then you have all these issues bubbling out that weren’t really checked out. Then it’s time to evaluate- do I really have to give up, or can they bluster through or redirect (perjury doesn’t matter if it’s about sex (D), but does if it’s about talking to reporters (R), etc.)

At least, that’s my opinion.

At least someone tried vetting her before it was too late.
There seem to be alot of tax problems going on in this country. Want to make a bet it’s going to get a whole lot worse when it comes to people paying their taxes. If those in charge don’t have to pay them, then why do we have to. I can see that excuse all over the news pretty soon. They got away with it so can I. I just wish I knew how bad things are going to get.

Answer: There is no vetting. The Democrats appoint lackies based solely on how well they kiss ass.

They have shown time and again their willingness to appoint the most incompetent buffons.

Vetting only applies to the Republican party.

She’s dropped the Schlossberg name, and hubby doesn’t show up for any of the photo ops with her. Are they still living together? Has anybody even seen the guy lately? Maybe somebody (the nanny?) found out she has his body locked in a freezer in the basement, and that’s why she dropped out.

Why any decent American has anything but contempt for this white trash family is beyond me. If they weren’t rich, her name would be Tammy, she’d have a meth habit, and her new boyfriend would be running away from the child support payments for his previous 3 children with 3 different women, instead of running away from the shareholders of The New York Times.
