If these guys are holed up like Supermax who cares where we put them. The whole idea about Gitmo wasn’t safety, these guys are going to be locked up to the point that escape is impossible, it was just to skirt US law. People in rural/suburban areas wouldn’t have to worry about anything other than business owners competing with the prison for workers. I really don’t see the big to do, all politicians see prisons as nothing but business, if its the contracts going out to run the ~~business~~ prison, jobs for their district, or stuffing as many nonviolent offenders into those prisons so you can say you were “tough on crime” as an AG to win elections. But I still don’t get the “boogety boogety boogety terrorists are locked up behind tons of metal, steel, and armed guards miles away…boogety boogety boogety” argument.

wouldent it suck to be a good old american convict and then end up being housed with terroists….

I don’t understand why this is even being discussed.

The only fair, just, humane thing to do is to convert the USMC Recruiting Station in Berkeley, California to condominiums and provide them to those poor victims of the Bush-Cheney regime. Along with other necessities of life, such as Priuses, arugula, and a few pounds each of C-4.

To directly answer your question, Ed, NO! I do not like to insult people like the left does, but the people of Murtha’s district are addicted to pork. Maybe when one of those Islamofacist terrorists come into one of the minimum-security in Murtha’s district, they will think about their congressman. Or maybe when the suspect escapes and actually COMMITS a terrorist act in Murtha’s district, that will wake them up. Hope and change, baby! Hope and change.

Aren’t there laws against giving AID AND COMFORT TO OUR ENEMIES?? Seems like the first act of obama was to cozy up to the terrorists… Oh well, he’s had plenty of practice in sucking up to billy bomber ayers and his wife forkie.

That sounds like a FANTASTIC IDEA, Murtha!
Let’s put these animals in a prison system with angry criminals that have no regard for the law.
What are we going to get? A lot of homegrown terrorists.
To these criminals, 72 virgins will sound like music to their ears, all they have to do is kill those that kept them behind bars all these years…it won’t be too hard to turn these criminals into jihadists.

Sometimes I feel ready to just give up. The only thing that stops me is what Mark Steyn said a few weeks ago:
