Reid: Lobbyists are people, too

So it wasn’t just me! I thought Kids Are People Too was just a fever dream. That I didn’t really see what I saw waiting for Bugs Bunny to come on.

Can I be relieved and disturbed at the same time?

Watching Reid,Nancy,and their liberal following of sheep continue to lie and spin away any credibility as their Paparazzi President is just sworn in is giving me confidence for real “Hope and Change” in 2010.
Change in democratic seats in Congress changing right back over to Republican as the democrats and their bogus agenda built on lies and propaganda starts to blow up around them.

Given all that screeching during the last two election cycles, though, the sudden discovery of the inner humanity of lobbyists seems just a wee bit self-serving.

The hypocrisy is mind-boggling…

It should be clear to everyone that BO’s presidency is all about BO. He owes a bunch of favors, for sure, but he doesn’t give a damn about this country, the Constitution, you, me or anyone.

He’s a puppet who will go the Billy Jeff way, i.e. serve a term or two and then become a power broker for sleazy deals with shaky countries. Why do you think Hillary is SoS?

If some American citizens and military personnel end up dead, it’s no problem for BO. Same for Billy Jeff.

Look at the stimupork bills. You will see these gross spending bills, with trillion dollar deficits, for the next 4 years. It´s payback time for the donors.

Reid made his fortune on corrupt land and development speculation supported by government projects. Obama made his career by kicking opponents off of the ballot and a seedy opening of his opponent´s divorce records by the press.

Nothing will change.

The First Amendment specifically protects the right of citizens to petition Congress, and lobbyists make it possible to do that in an organized fashion.

Sheesh, Ed, did Osama Obama personally oversee your conversion? This is one of the weirdest statements I’ve seen in, well, one heckuva long time.

You got that “organized fashion” bit right. If you have millions — or tens of millions — of bucks lying around with which to bribe influence the corrupted swine is D.C., then lobbyists are your boys. Or girls.

But when the average citizen attempts to exercise the same right, they’re lucky if they get a computer-generated form email.

I’d be happy to take a chance on screwing up some Constitutional right to get at least one level of corruption out of our “democratic” process, particularly if dumping lobbyists was combined with some rule requiring our lords and masters servants in Congress to talk to their constituents.

I know such stalwarts as Reid and Pelosi would hate that. They actually might have to come up with some answers, and might have to take actions that actually help people without getting a friendly little spiff for it.
