but with obama i listened last night to michael savage asking a caller what do you feel hope or fear
When he said hope for the economy
he was asked “Ok HOW” is obama going to do this..
The caller could not give any answer.

Because everyone knows that the slogan
Hope n change means anything to anyone
Who doenst have a CLUE as to what they are doing
or they dont have a plan ..

Like i said obama is a completly empty suit
the difference is he wears it so well..

For me, I see no COLOR. I see no gender. What I do see is a new POTUS. I see a media who will most likely do EVERYTHING in their power to make sure that Obama is “successful”. I see Obamzies who’ve been Barakzinated by an empty suit. I told my wife that I’m willing to give this guy a chance. I’m willing to HOPE for his success. But, I am very suspicious of his record and his cabinet picks. To me, it’s seems as though someone else is running the Obama Show. Why would such a fresh, new, innovative guy bring in so many folks who are plagued with scandal? I’m just asking.

If you decide to take criminals off military battlefields and put them into civilian courtrooms, how far off are we from mirandizing before you shoot at the enemy?

Whatever; all Obama had to do was repeat what Roberts was saying.

Not if Roberts screwed up the line to begin with, and Obama *knew* that Roberts had screwed it up. In that case, he’d wait patiently for Roberts to figure it out, and say the *correct* line.

Which is what *looked* like happened. (Doesn’t mean it *did*, I admit that readily :-) – will have to hunt for the post-game breakdown by various commenters online…)

Deer-in-headlight moment while you’re taking the oath isn’t a good omen.

I don’t have any problem rooting for the candidate Obama to fail. That’s the guy who sat in a racist church for 20 years … The crook who disabled the safety features of his website to rake in hundreds of millions in shady campaign donations, dispatched squads of ACORN operatives to defraud the electoral system, and sent his minions to destroy an Ohio plumber … The president who was sworn in today may prove to be a different person. … The prognosis isn’t encouraging, but hope is the defiance of a prognosis.

What a great post, Doctor Zero. Looks to me to be the correct and/or definitive analysis of the way most McCain voters either should, or are likely to, treat Obama and his administration. There’s both a fairness and a seriousness of tone that I’ve not seen matched on the left WRT Bush, from 2000 forward.

And what a contrast in tone from dakine’s admonitions to the rest of us to stop discussing Obama freely, with his/her cavalier, “Yeah, I voted for McCain, so what? I don’t see why all of you can’t just STFU already.” You both cover the same subject area but the contrast in your respective credibility[ies] is night and day (to say the least… :-).

Halfhearted, weak, and in some parts it was completely disconnected from reality (the “warming planet” schtick and his remarks on the size of government) Some of his statements were very naive – including his insistence that terrorists and others intent on destroying the American way of life will just join hands with us after a nice chat and an “unclenching of the fist.”

Other than that, it went in one ear and out the other.
