Inaugural benediction: Pray that “white will embrace what is right”

Didn’t whites just do that by electing Jesus Christ president?

Welcome to the post-racial age. Exit question: Hey, that Rick Warren’s pretty controversial, huh?

Baldilocks, they were gone for a while. Now they’re back.

Hussein is himself a racist and he admitted it on NUMEROUS occasions.

The racism of his selected preacher is no great surprise, is it?

dogsoldier on January 21, 2009 at 12:36 PM

I am seriously sick and tired of everyone not being able to comprehend what ‘racist’ means.

Racist = Hate someone based solely on their skin color.

No more, no less. What the former hell-bound ‘Rev.’ said was not racist, it was prejudicial to the extreme. He basically said that all white people are racist.

zenodaddy on January 21, 2009 at 12:42 PM

The white man built this country and has kept it the world’s leader for many years. As I span the globe, I don’t see anything close created or maintained by people of African decent. On the contrary: all I see is Black run trainwrecks. Give the white man credit for producing a black man like Obama. If it was up to Kenya, he would be par with the rest of the people over there.

saiga on January 21, 2009 at 1:01 PM

saiga, were you misdirected here from Stormfront by any chance?

dakine on January 21, 2009 at 1:13 PM

I have no problem with saigas perspective…

lowery has some standard that supports his accusation and saigas view seems fair.

Do we compare ourselves to the rape of Rhodesia where a once, breadbasket nation is reduced to rubble while whites were systematically attacked all in the last thirty years.

The replacement of Whites in power certainly didnt help the majority of Blacks in Rhodesia or the people who could have been fed elsewhere with the crops this once great nation produced.

Sonosam on January 21, 2009 at 1:22 PM

I have a friend who pretty much hates all blacks. He grew up around them all of his life like I had.
He is still living around them, I am not.
When I go back east to visit where there are a lot of blacks, I find myself fleeing back home.
Am I prejudice? I’m not sure anymore, but I certainly don’t intend to be.
Unfortunately, my friend’s rants are starting to prove factual.
From the news media I get the picture that now whitey’s going to suffer bcs the blacks are in charge.

Dirty Christianist. Oh wait he is for Obama. That makes him un-Christianist.

But my freedom means freedom from Leftist nanny-state policies designed to mentally enslave blacks (and, ultimately everyone else).

huh? excuse me baldicrock but you do nothing but spew GOP talking points here, so don’t continue to lie and act like you are not a repug.
Noneya on January 20, 2009 at 4:32 PM

Just started reading this thread, but I am sure that Noneya is getting a big-time thrashing by Baldilocks. The Democratic Party promotes hatred in order to survive, e.g. “Evil Rich” vs “poor Poor” or “Evil Corporations” vs “poor Workers” or “Evil Whites” vs “poor Blacks” or “Evil Bush” vs “poor victims of Hurricane Katrina” or etc.

Hurricane Katrina is interesting since the Democrats controlled Louisiana and New Orleans at the time. With the help of MSM, the Democrats were able to shift the blame to “Evil Bush” and away from themselves. If there had been an election going on, then the Democratic Party would’ve made sure that all their ‘mentally enslaved‘ supporters made it to the voting booths…

Karmi on January 21, 2009 at 2:45 PM

it’s the economic policies of presidents like reagan and bush who kept blacks in the ghetto. which president did blacks prosper the most under? Clinton! yet you continue to lie and act like republicans have your community’s best interests at heart, gimme a break….

Notice how Warren was his normal politically correct self. He slyly tried to appease Christians and all others by using the name Yeshua instead of Jesus. No one was offended.

shick on January 20, 2009 at 2:21 PM

My wonderful wife corrected me on this. She heard Warren say Jesus. I was so quick to prejudge Warren that when I heard him say Yeshua that was all I heard. I apologize for spreading a mistruth and slander.

On reflection on his whole prayer he did a pretty good job but I still think he shouldn’t have been there in the first place. His presence legitimizes Barack Obama’s radical position on abortion.

shick on January 21, 2009 at 3:40 PM

this was a pointed attempt to remind obama
not the whites
that these liberals expect obama to begin
reperations proceedings..

And personally i would rather get that out in the open right now..
And just ask every black african american one question..

How much do we have to pay you to finally be done with this?

That was the real message he was sending and it wasnt to us white folks no
it was to obama and congress.

jcila on January 21, 2009 at 3:45 PM

oh yea and on warrens prayer..
he did mention jesus..
once

Quoted from the KORAN ONE sentance..
Tried to include everyone nice..
but then asking Jesus to bless is sheer insanity..

he almost HID the name jesus because if he would have dared to say
in the name of Jesus the Christ our LORD and Savior
the God of America

He would have been arrested on the spot by peolozi herself..

jcila on January 21, 2009 at 3:47 PM

I personally do not ever ever want to see any kind of race war between blacks and whites in america

I am now convinced the only way to settle this is to again ask the question of all african americans
How much to settle this claim..

You have the presidency
You have congress
You have the house of representatives
Your in big business
Your in the military
So the real message i got was

he wants reperations..

Ok i want to ask How much?
50% of my paycheck?
all of my stocks (they aint worth anything now anyway)
How much..

and the other question which must be asked is
since other groups did not legalize slavery meaning asians, chinese , japanese, korean, indian – from india – pakastanis..
will it be a whites only tax?

I want to ask this question because obama is on the record stating he wants wealth re-distribution..

I want an answer..
How much to satisfy this claim?
1 trillion?
10 trillion?
or should all whites be asked (to leave)?

jcila on January 21, 2009 at 3:52 PM

jcila,

Great questions. My view is very un-PC to say the least. It was not the ‘white’ man who kept them down. Their fellow blacks were the ones who kept them down. Most tend to not know any history except for the ones who they deem too educated to be truly black. Throughout this countries history it was the Republican’s who freed them, allowed them to vote, and to try to help them get ahead.

It was their OWN PARTY who controlled the south, and put up all the roadblocks for their true freedom.

Instead of reparations, we need to offer to buy them a one way ticket back to Africa and see how many accept it. If it were not for their ancestors being slaves (ALL of our ancestors have been slaves at one point or another), they would currently be hunting for their next meal with their tribal leaders.

They should instead feel blessed to live in a country that offers them hope, prosperity and a future. Rather, they have perfected ‘victimize’.

Now don’t get me wrong, not every black person belongs to this group, but the majority do.

what “leftist nanny-state policy” did President Clinton have that kept blacks “enslaved”? welfare reform? increased financial aid? why did the black poverty rate get worse under the GOP congress and president from 2000-06 after improving so much under Clinton?

Noneya on January 21, 2009 at 4:47 PM

While I do not consider myself to be a racist, I do think that in America if perfectly OK for one person to hate, love, respect, disrespect, etc any other person for any reason he sees fit. To me that is one of the beauties of being free. Does that mean that person is small minded? Probaly so, but it is nobody elses business and it certainly not the governments responsibility to legislate feelings.

Check out my blog on this subject. The dear senile reverend motivated me to overcome my pain and pen a rant.

How has the world changed? I guess it’s ok to be a black racist now. Oh wait… that’s still the same. Pardon me while I search for some change.

cannonball on January 21, 2009 at 5:56 PM

When will racism by Blacks end?

When will race baiting by idiots like Sharpton and Jackson and Shabazz end?

WATCH; The MINUTE the likes of Sharpton, Jackson and Shabazz cannot gain profit and power from the “race game”, Obama will be their next attack for not being “Black” enough.

Isn’t it FINALLY time for the black population to learn the truth, as put by Malcolm X that, “voting for Democrats makes blacks traitors to their own race”? Truths like Dr Martin Luther King was a REPUBLICAN, that Democrats filibustered the Civil Rights Act for SEVEN YEARS, that REPUBLICANS are responsible in Congress for passing the Civil Rights Act, and Democrats created Jim Crow laws and the Ku Klux Klan.

Racism isn’t going to end anytime soon because the propaganda of the left will perpetuate the hate and divide.
It’s LONG past time for The American People to be educated on exactly WHO keeps this hate fed and who has worked to end it.
Slavery ended in the United States over 143 years ago and Civil Rights were finally established 45 years ago, Democrats did NEITHER!

nelsonknows on January 21, 2009 at 6:06 PM

what “leftist nanny-state policy” did President Clinton have that kept blacks “enslaved”? welfare reform?

Noneya on January 21, 2009 at 4:47 PM

Welfare reform was Republican legislation. Clinton signed it against the wishes of just about every Democrat. The left hated it so much that Clinton had to lie and tell them that he would get superceding legislation passed in his next term (he was running at the time). That was, of course, a lie, as Clinton was given to lying … like leftists, in general.

Get a brain.

That might be your definition but its certainly not how the term has been bandied about by the leftists.

I’ll say it again.. if a white protestant priest had said “Black must do what’s right” would he be labeled as “extremely prejudiced” or racist?

Noneya on January 21, 2009 at 4:47 PM

There’s the policies and then there’s the cultural ideology. It’s definitely true that whites are split when it comes to things like work ethic, capitalism, social good, patient climbing of hierarchies and many other things that encourage either dependency or an instant gratification mentality, which also encourages dependency because the easiest legal way to get something you can’t afford is to have the government tax someone and give it to you. The message from leftists is that the white people who support all that capitalism, achievement stuff don’t like black people, so why emulate them? Even when blacks are taught to support achievement (e.g., Jesse Jackson’s “I am somebody” stuff), it’s usually in the context of their identity as blacks, not achievement in an abstract sort of way, which is how I was taught to think about achievement. I was taught to compete and strive to achieve relative to everyone who’s ever existed (yes, that’s lofty for any given individual but it doesn’t invalidate the concept), not achieve relative to blacks in America or Africa. Maybe that was more something unique to my upbringing, but if it isn’t, it would be a significant difference between whites and blacks and would be perpetuated, at least in part, by leftist programs like affirmative action and allowing things like Ebonics into the school curriculum. Basing your life on identity is pretty pathetic because you turn yourself into a cog in a wheel. We call white people who did that “Nazis” and “Fascists” (and not metaphorically, either, those were the names of political movements that actually believed these things, only applied to whites).

2000 was the top of a very big technological bubble and even the most marginal worker was pulled into the workforce by the opportunities. As it collapsed, the marginal workers were most likely to be let go and that hits blacks harder, as did the continual loss of manufacturing jobs in those years.

I believe your definition of racist is incorrect. The word isn’t Skincolorist, its RACE-ist.

anyway….

Many white people were called racist this year (including my daughter) because she didn’t want to vote for Obama. I think Lowery IS a racist, based on his prejudicial(is that correct grammar?) comments. Its amazing how conservatives always get their spelling and grammar corrected. I think its because the Liberal argument is weak, and its a good way to draw your attention away from the point and make the reader think they are more intelligent, and therefore, correct. BTW- Zenodaddy, I’m not referring to you personally here, I know you weren’t doing that here, it was just an opportunity for me to say what I thought on this topic.

eplain on January 21, 2009 at 8:56 PM

What amazes me is, this Moron can make these comments in front of the best example of affirmative action that ever existed. And Obama was OK with it too! “You people” are really destroying race relations by the minute.

Fighting racism is one of the best paying jobs in town. You can’t expect this well paying cottage industry of 40 years to simply dry up and disappear. Racism is an asset that is too valuable to loose! Too big to fail!

Obviously the layoffs and resulting unemployment would disproportionately impact urban areas and minorities with minimal education and skill sets. How can we turn our back in this industry in their hour of need? Continued massive retraining and subsidies are needed. Racism must be protected!

I wonder if TARP can be expanded….

there is a reason black people become Reverends, community organizes, and activists. None of these jobs require breaking a sweat.

A bold faced lie!

I’ve seen Jackson sweat up a storm. When Jesse had that problem with the missing Rainbow funds, the girlfriend and the child ….you know there was a lot of sweating involved, before during and after. Before Sharpton lost all that weight, he used to sweat like crazy! When the tawana brawley case came unglued, you know DJ Al’s track suit was probably soaking wet with sweat.

Don’t even get me started about J. Wright. The camera doesn’t even need to zoom in to see he’s working up a sweat when he’s talking about the collective sins of whitey.

The fact is, there’s a lot of sweat flying around with these guys. I think it is communicable too, because a couple of times father flager looked like he was close to breaking out into a lather.

We already have a day of contrition, tax day. So confess your sins, get grip and get some glasses. But at the very least and most importantly, stroke the check and you will incrementally be absolved.
