And she talks about him being the worst president in history “also because” of his conservative views? Really? Ronald Reagan was more conservative than Bush and yet was elected in the largest landslide in American history.
Finally, she has never been accused of bias in her reporting? Does she live under a rock?

She graduated from the journalism department at my alma mater, Wayne State University. It turns out that the journalism department was next door to the geology department, where I studied, in Old Main. I hope that when Helen Thomas finally runs out of her abundant gas, she’ll be displayed as a liberal fossil back at the geology department.

Bush was the worst president in history because “he came in with the whole idea for war” — huh??
Bush ran as a peace time presidential candidate in 2000 with his big issues being education reform and tax cuts. He was in fact a pseudo isolationist and expressed little interest or enthusiasm for foreign policy. He *became* a wartime president on September 11, 2001. If that attack had not happened I have little doubt that Bush would have been a relatively unremarkable one-term president who focused his energy on domestic issues. And she’s an expert journalist on the White House and presidential history?!?!?

I think we all agree the media is overflowing with liberals, and yet we allow them to pick our candidates. By giving name recognition to one candidate over another, by choosing which soundbites to use, and by picking which topics to focus on they can (and do) have a major influence on the voters.
Look at the charts of media exposure for Republican Presidential candidates from this time last year. You’ll find that Guiliani, Romney, Huckabee, etc trailed by a HUGE margin behind McCain. The liberal media forced McCain on the GOP. Are you going to allow them to do that in 2012?
