To be honest with you,this is something that has to start making it’s way to the top.

Calling Obama and his herd out on their hypocrisy and selective patriotism is fine and good,but we must come up with positive alternatives.

I do believe that once the dust settles on this election/swearing in,that more specifics about proposals will be brought to light.

Fiscal conservatism,less government intervention,cutting taxes,strong on National security,being more inclusive and showing diversity with the electorate,and fighting for our beliefs to name a few, will come up strong quickly.

Obama and the democratic party have expectations set beyond belief to a sane person.Obama is already rolling back on promise after promise and the “it’s Bush’s fault” crowd will
be reduced to the whiny sideline show that they deserve as Obama’s face is on TV day in and day out,making him responsible for events here and at home.

“Hope and Change” will lose as much credibility as the “Global Warming” politics of fear is losing now.

The people jumping up and down are not talking about working hard and making tough choices,they are happy Bush is gone and asking where there check is.It will take no time for this crowd to start walking around pissed,with their hands out wanting to know where their “hope and change” is.

Nancy and Reid are already talking up massive tax increases,massive spending,and bragging about trading kisses with lobbyist.This combined with the corruption of many democrats rolling across the TV screen is not going to be the hope and change that a lot of people were planning on.

The Republicans should start by calling OBama out on all the money he is taking in from big business that the tax payers are shelling out billions to bail out.

We are living in a historical moment that in some ways represents uncharted territory. In other respects, however, the current moment is a return to a simpler and clearer past, when the hallmark of conservatism was opposition to extravagant spending boondoggles proposed by liberals. For a variety of reasons the fiscal battle lines have been blurred in recent years, but these days we are back to the paradigm that held sway decades ago.

Yesterday, Minority Leader John Boehner sent out an email on the House Democrats’ ridiculous $825 billion “stimulus” bill. It is worth reproducing in its entirety:

1. The House Democrats’ bill will cost each and every household $6,700 additional debt, paid for by our children and grandchildren.

2. The total cost of this one piece of legislation is almost as much as the annual discretionary budget for the entire federal government.

3. President-elect Obama has said that his proposed stimulus legislation will create or save three million jobs. This means that this legislation will spend about $275,000 per job. The average household income in the U.S. is $50,000 a year.

7. Although the House Democrats’ proposal has been billed as a transportation and infrastructure investment package, in actuality only $30 billion of the bill – or three percent – is for road and highway spending. A recent study from the Congressional Budget Office said that only 25 percent of infrastructure dollars can be spent in the first year, making the one year total less than $7 billion for infrastructure.

11. Almost one-third of the so called tax relief in the House Democrats’ bill is spending in disguise, meaning that true tax relief makes up only 24 percent of the total package – not the 40 percent that President-elect Obama had requested.

Boehner calling this out is a start.

Combine this with Nancy making it clear that she is raising
taxes on Small and large business’s does not bode well for jump starting the economy.

Remember,the goal posts have been moved massively in regards to what the democrats consider “success”.
Instead of CREATING JOBS,the measure of success is now SAVING JOBS.
I would love to apply this to the Bush Administration considering the large amount of federal income, job creation,and business growth occurred due to the tax cuts.

The Bush administration today recommended the most significant regulatory overhaul in the housing finance industry since the savings and loan crisis a decade ago.
Under the plan, disclosed at a Congressional hearing today, a new agency would be created within the Treasury Department to assume supervision of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the government-sponsored companies that are the two largest players in the mortgage lending industry.

Who blocked it,the democrats in full force to line their pockets with Fannie money and keep pushing loan practices for people who don’t pay their bills.

The “smart ones” were as ignorant about this as they have been about Iraq:

”These two entities — Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — are not facing any kind of financial crisis,” said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. ”The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.”
Representative Melvin L. Watt, Democrat of North Carolina, agreed.
”I don’t see much other than a shell game going on here, moving something from one agency to another and in the process weakening the bargaining power of poorer families and their ability to get affordable housing,” Mr. Watt said.

. And Sen. Christopher Dodd, the Democratic chairman of the Senate banking committee,
(who took boatloads of money from Fannie/Freddie blocked any type of regulation,did not offer one bit of oversight and regulation)

We will save the senator some trouble. Here is what we saw firsthand at the White House from late 2002 through 2007: Starting in 2002, White House and Treasury Department economic policy staffers, with support from then-Chief of Staff Andy Card, began to press for meaningful reforms of Fannie, Freddie and other government-sponsored enterprises, known GSEs.

How did Fannie and Freddie counter such efforts? They flooded Washington with lobbying dollars, doled out tens of thousands in political contributions and put offices in key congressional districts. Not surprisingly, these efforts worked. Leaders in Congress did not just balk at proposals to rein in Fannie and Freddie. They mocked the proposals as unserious and unnecessary.

As recently as last summer, when housing prices had clearly peaked and the mortgage market had started to seize up, Dodd called on Bush to “immediately reconsider his ill-advised” reform proposals. Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, said that the president’s suggestion for a strong, independent regulator of Fannie and Freddie was “inane.”

That’s a real smart position there,block any reform of an industry that is capable of ruining our economy with massive dept across the country,then blame it on Bush.

McCain specifically nailed this problem down only to be told he didn’t care about the “little” people and “minorities”

I urge my colleagues to support swift action on this GSE reform legislation.

Democrats opposed this straight across the board.Yet again
not offering any oversight or regulation on this impending

They yelled and screamed for more than a decade about Saddam being a threat to the US and the World,then voted for war.

When the war got tough and they saw a political opportunity by being “anti-war” all of a sudden(just like in Vietnam)they produced bogus conspiracy theories and yelled for immediate withdrawl.
They continuously stated that Iraq was lost even pronouncing it on the senate floor while our troops were still on the battlefield.
They said the surge would not work and still demanded immediate withdrawl.

Now the surge has worked and Iraq is a success.

Democrats now say that they knew all along the surge would stop the violence and it was there yelling for withdrawl that really won the war.

So according to the “smart ones”.”Smart Power” consists of yelling surrender as soon as possible if you want to defeat your enemy.
