I live very close to West Virginia, and had a chance to buy a home there a few years back when the economy was better. I really regret not moving on that opportunity then. I worked in Baltimore for five years, and can tell readers here not familiar with the city that YES, the people there are really that stupid. Like most urban areas, they continue to parrot the talking points of their race-baiting plantation overseers, and remain ignorant, uneducated, and in continual turmoil ad infinitum.

So…as of Tuesday, noon, we will witness a new Juneteenth as the Messiah is sworn in to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic…and the throngs will fully expect to see and receive a lot more than 40 acres and a mule.
This worship of the incoming President is appalling. It is mockery of our history and traditions, and the serious business of governance, in its worst form. Tuesday seems more like a coronation than a Constitutionally required inauguration.
The American Idol Presidency coupled with what seems like an inordinately high expectation of the world suddenly changing to a global community of instant peace, lions laying down with lambs, and every ill being cured certainly isn’t going to enhance our “gravitas” in front of our enemies…and there are a lot of them, in the wings waiting, or confronting us presently.
So, after noon on Tuesday, then what?
Was at a military collectors show this morning, and an acquaintance of over a decade was just oozing about Obama and how everything bad was going to be set right again once that evil Bush and Cheney were out of power. He just couldn’t say enough about how wonderful Obama was. One older veteran, also a friend, asked him simply, name one thing, just one thing, that Obama has accomplished on his own in his entire life…and there was no answer, save for the perfunctory “that’s racist!” from the gentleman in question. A white liberal, totally a party-line Democrat, out here in Ohio actually believes, honestly believes, that the bank failures, the mortgage crisis, the oil crisis, and all the rest, were all staged by Bush so Bush and Cheney could make millions for themselves on the backs of the rest of the country.
Folks, 2010 is not that far away…at what point are Conservatives in this country going to get underway and get this country back on an even keel again? Elected officials such as Lisa Gladden are not the exception…they are the norm these days. Heaven help us all.

I’ve been watching Pelosi since she first arrived in Congress in her mine-for-life seat, and I can tell you that everything Tina Fey fans erroneously think Sarah Palin is the actuality of Pelosi.

As Obama is sworn in, I will be taking the Flag, which has flown in front of my house daily, for years, down.
I may replace it with my “Don’t Tread on Me” flag, I have not decided yet…
But this is no longer the country that I, and 7 Generations of my Ancestors fought for… and it is not the country I hoped to leave my son.
When the supposedly CONSERVATIVE President, goes Socialist… when 50% of the electorate pays no income tax… and when we are putting our children in so much debt that they will never be able to work their way out of it… and when we are no longer willing to enforce our own laws, including the Constitution… and when elections can be so corrupt that you have more votes counted, than voters who signed in that day…
And we elect someone with no experience at anything except running for office… when we have serious problems…
I have sadly come to the conslusion that Democracy is a failed experiment, and our Founding Fathers, who gave us a Republic were absolutly correct when they warned us about the tyranny of the masses.

Well, not too long ago I was sitting in my state GOP convention listening to my Senator tell me that Bush was doing a great job and the massive debt our country is collapsing under is actually good for the economy. There were a small number of conservatives shaking our heads at the RINO.
The GOP turned it’s back on fiscal conservatives and didn’t care that our country was going bankrupt – it didn’t matter as long as Bush was in office.
If you’re a fiscal conservative then get to your county GOP meetings and let them know you’ll be in the process until your state convention.

I keep going back and forth on what will happen in the next 6 months.
Possibility 1: The oBamatrons wake up sometime in June. Their jobs still sucks (if they have one). Their marriage still sucks. Their kids are still brats. Their mortgage payment is still eating up 50% of their income and foreclosure is on the horizon. They ask themselves, wtf happened, I thought Obama was supposed to make everything better
Possibility 2. They delude themselves into thinking, it’s bad, but it would be so much worse without Obama.
It’s anyone’s guess which happens and it will be interesting to see. I suspect it’s #1. Even the most powerful cults eventually crumble as people start asking questions they shouldn’t be asking.

I went to Baltimore on business a few years ago, the fellow traveling with me was from there. We met some of his friends at a brew pub the evening we arrived and I was shocked at the level of BDS that was on display. I heard a conservative commenter say that the bailouts are a knee jerk reaction to the financial problems. I don’t believe that. I believe this economic situation was the result of long term efforts for a huge government power grab. The leadership in Washington’s only intention is to use the economic disaster they, themselves, have created to take this country down to socialism. I’m so disappointed that President Bush had a hand in helping.

They think that this is a gross exaggeration, that any right thinking person would never consider Obama, the Messiah or The One, that the MSM is all about selling advertising and the promotion of Obama will maximize their profits, and that BO will prove to be like all past politicians–all sizzle but little substance. Well, let me recommend you read 4 books: The Prince (Machiavelli), Rules for Radicals (Olinsky), Mein Kampf (Hitler) and Atlas Shrugged (Rand). If after reading these 4 books you still feel Obama is no threat to your freedom then I fear that America is indeed doomed.
