The absurdity of your “position” has been pointed out before. It is ludicrous and anti-intellectual to assume that a correct position is in the middle. The middle continually moves, as the left and right move. Ergo, you stand for nothing permanent or solid. Your “centrist” position today would be considered far left yesterday, and will be something else tomorrow.

Develop some firm beliefs. Once you do, you will find yourself constant, while the world whirls around you. It’s called maturity.

For crying out loud what is the harm in these people sitting down to dinner? Some of you really need to get a grip!

These swooning “reporters” acted like teenage little girls out on a date. They were just hanging out. It’s a friggin joke. This was the most publicized off the record meeting in history I think. Their editors should dock their pay for a day, at least.

Kudlow was pimping for the Big Bailout months ago. His interest is money — his Wall Street friends’ money.

I expect to see Jonah Goldberg breaking bread with Osama Obama next.

Unfortunately, I think you’re right. He’s also very, very pro-illegal immigration to keep the supply of cheap, docile indentured servants coming to provide low cost labor, and was also totally in favor of the Dubai ports deal. For Kudlow, economic values trump all others.

Arguably they’re there to represent right-wing opinion — really arguably in Brooks’s case — but (a) I think Obama’s familiar with the counterarguments to his policies by now and (b) theoretically we have congressmen for that.

Rush nailed it on his show today. These are DC establishment “conservatives.” The bastards that foisted John McCain on the party. There wasn’t a real rank-and-file conservative among the group. Just your normal crowd of DC country club “conservatives.” These traitors would be supporting most of the Obama agenda anyway since McCain was essentially campaigning on the same left-of-center agenda.

When the filthy Chicago bastard sits down on the record with Hannity, Ingraham, Limbaugh, etc. I’ll be impressed. But not when he sits down in the group that supported McCain and attacked Romney or Thompson as being too Christian.

Savage is not a conservative. And Rush has plenty of new ideas. I don’t listen to him often, but I know that Operation Chaos was his!

Learning from others is not something that anyone looks at as Liberal or Conservative if they have any sort of intelligence.

The people I see yelling ALL the time are Liberals. The View gals, Matt Lauer, Olberdouche, Code Pink, Nancy Pelosi, “I’m trying to save the planet!”, The Global Warming scaremongers, etc.

Some of the right’s talking heads yell, but most are respectful during interviews, including O’Reilly, who isn’t really a conservative either.

I listened to Krauthammer not talk about the dinner on O’Reilly today. He wasn’t gushing, just said Obama is same guy that he always presents himself to be… A pussy!
