<strong>"Aye, Laddie - MMMBUT DO YA HAAATE BOOOOOOOOSH?!"</strong>

The strategy of the Enemies of Freedom, Liberty and America (also known as "Liberals") - since they cannot win any arguments on merits or substantiated facts - is to Demonize the leader of their opposition. This is called the strategy of "Cut off the head, and the body will die". They are not interested in the logic - only the perjoritives.

They do this by slinging smear after smear of lies and calumny against the walls of their opposition's leader. The Media is ALWAYS with them - so they ALWAYS get SOMETHING to "stick". They wait in their Lairs of Lies breathlessly awaiting just ONE member of their Opposition to say something demeaning or denigrating about their Leader or the ideas of their Leader so that they can ALL shriek in SHRILLNESS: "SEE -- even the CONSERVATIVES (or REPUBLICANS) AGREE with US ----- that MAN (or Woman) is THE DEVIL!!!!!" THIS is what Pelosi and Reid stand for: naked, unadultered and limitless POWER. Power for power's sake.

If one of us DON'T say something negative about our leader or The Good Guys -- The Liberals MAKE UP Something and LIE about who said something and WHAT was said, and use it against us. The MEDIA proceeds to use their power to ring these lies off of the walls of the Media echo chamber again and again to reinforce it. Evidence of this is found if you remember WHO Obama ran against: He ran against George W. Bush. The Mainstream Terrorist Media made SURE of that. THAT is why they were so ENRAGED with Palin - because they COULDN'T paint HER as Bush, and had to come up with a whole new slew of lies, slanders and smears to try and take her down. It did NOT work, however - after McCain HELPED the Mainstream Media demonize him as "Bush III", it was too late for the Republican ticket.

THAT is why I DON'T help them by chiming in with the "HAAAATE BOOOOOOOOSH!!!!" perjoritives and lies.

THAT is why it is important to remember that everytime you bellow about how much you "HAAATE BOOOOSH" or "HAAATE PAAALIN" or how "WORTHLESS" Bush or Palin is ----- you're ONLY Helping THE ENEMY!!

Let's STOP helping the Enemy, and let's STOP helping The Terrorists by giving them soundbites that they and The Media can use to beat their message of hate into the world so loudly and longly that they drown out any whisper of the truth.

<blockquote>Actually, later on, Klinger (cross-dresser, not tranny, as far as we know) eventually became the Colonel’s assistant.</blockquote>

True, but those episodes sucked to the point of being unwatchable.

Once Burns, Blake and McIntyre left they should have just put that show on the Oxygen Channel.

And on an even more interesting note...

What is a pardon? If a pardon tells the STATE that the person is not guilty, then the Order is one to the Government, not the individual (like a commutation would be... it changes the sentence...).

Once someone is pardoned, do they have to go to court to get released? or are the just released? It would seem this would be an indication as to whether a pardon is an order to the state, or one the individual has to have and then invoke through the courts...

Because if its an order to the state, once signed and sealed, I don't see how you can revoke it.

Gonna be an interesting arguement... but I bet the courts punt on this one just like they have punted on so many cases recently.

Hmmmm... this is kind of interesting...

Historicaly, most Govenors could stop an execution with a phone call... it did not have to be a piece of paper... as it was a commutation...

Here, they are saying you need a piece of paper to be deliverd, and accepted? But the prededent is based on a case back when we did not have modern communications...

Hmmm... wonder if Marc Rich was ever delivered a Letter...

Camile Paglia opines that folks who are "gay" choose to be that way, they are not born that way:

The widespread desire to find a biological basis for homosexuality seems to me very misconceived. It will inevitably lead to claims that gays are developmentally defective at the prenatal level. I myself believe (as I argued in "No Law in the Arena" in "Vamps & Tramps") that everyone is born with a potential for bisexual responsiveness and that exclusive homosexuality is an adaptation to specific social conditions. When a gay adult claims to have been gay since early childhood, what he or she is actually remembering is the sense of being different for some reason, which in boys often registers as shyness or super-sensitivity, leading to a failure to bond with bumptious peers. This disjunction, with all its painfully stifled longings, becomes overt homosexuality much later on. But retrospective psychohistory is out these days, and the only game in town is pin the tail on the oppressor.

<blockquote>"leaving the scene of an accident after causing injury”. </blockquote>

That's a pretty clever plea.

"Injury" as in, "all body functions have ceased to function due to acute inhalation of water".

I guess you have to attend law school to understand things like that.

Actually Kennedy pled guilty to a charge of <em>"leaving the scene of an accident after causing injury".</em> He received a two month sentence, which was suspended.<strong></strong>

<blockquote>I think Ol’ Teddy “I need another scotch” will meet his fate…very soon, NoDonkey.</blockquote>

What a loss that will be.

To the distilling industry of America.

Although the "Supersize Me!" coffin industry should get a boon.

I hear they've set aside a few hundred acres in Arlington for the plot.

Make that OhEssYouBeavers and a '69 Camaro with a 427 and I'll be right with ya. Paint job sounds about right. We probably have similar opinons of the Ducks, too.

How does one legally satisfy the "acceptance" requirement? Do you have to put something in writing, or would jumping up and down and screaming "I got it, I got it!" work just as well? Has anyone ever declined to accept a pardon?

<blockquote>So basically Bush signs any piece of paper put in front of him, based on some underling’s recommendation. Great.

Seems like something Klinger would do to the Colonel on M*A*S*H.

Oh man, I'm on my way to D.C. -

"For the President:

OhEssYouCowboys is to receive a Title to, free and clear of any and all liens or obligations, one (1) 1970 426 Hemi Cuda, with no more than three (3) original miles on the odometer, in right-off-the-assembly-line condition, with the same to be painted orange, with a black, shaker hood.

How 'bout pardoning fat Teddy for killing that girl?

I mean before he croaks.

Seems like a nice thing to do, for all the hammers, sickles and empty whiskey bottles Uncle Teddy's contributed to this nation.

Oh, he was never convicted for that?

Never mind.

Very, very sad, but I think he is turning his back on true heros... Most disturbing thing, outside of bailout mania, in his Administration. I have posted in the past my admiration of Bush for his strong stance for defending America, our Military and his honor... He is / has lost all of my fondness and admiration with this disgrace.
