Video: Michelle rips Obama’s stimulus plan and the GOP’s complicity in it

A timely clip as news breaks that Bush and Obama are hooking up to double-dip on TARP, even while 53 percent of Americans tell Gallup they’re ready for another $700 billion bite. On a related note, you’ll be pleased to know that that town in Alabama that wanted $375 million from the stimulus has quietly withdrawn its request. Some cynics perceived it as greedy, you see.

Here she is on Cavuto followed by The One speaking earlier today about how urgently dire our dire urgency is in passing the bill, a draft of which his team hopes to dump on Congress next week. Exit question: If/when blog advertising dries up later this year, which “makework job” in Obama’s WPA should I apply for? I’m thinking about pothole-filler. Out: Hot Air. In: Fresh air!

it’s going to take a while for Republicans to get their good name back.

Pay attention dude. They don’t want to change. They’re more into spending than the Democrats. They just lie more about it.

The Republican Party needs to die.

The republican party will outlive you.

Thank God.

Is Michelle getting better looking over time, or am I getting uglier?

If individual republicans do not properly represent their constituents, then they need to be replaced with republicans who do. The republican party does not need to die. I don’t know who you are, but if you are a libertarian,(or whoever you are) then you need to face reality and accept that you and your party will always be an * asterisk in politics. Relegated to the margins and never to attain any power. The republican party is the only thing that exists to fight against the democrats.

The Republican party will die and deserves to die if conservatives continue to dominate it.

America was founded on liberalism, classic liberalism; pro-capitalist, individualistic, democratic, free speech, rule of law, seperation of powers, etc.

The term liberalism was coopted by socialists. Norman Thomas, Socialist Party of America, 1940s:

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened.”

The Republican party is now stuck with “conservatism”, which sounds like stale canned food. Conservatives are generally clueless on economic principles or how to deal with urban socialists and media. “Conservatism 2.0″ adds insult to injury.

Republicans should oppose Obama at every turn. F*** bipartisanship. Obama only wants to bring Republicans in so he can blame the later for “unexpected consequences” of his policies.

Lets make very clear that the mess of the coming four years is Obama’s and Obama’s alone. The Republican party should oppose socialism, reclaim its liberal heritage, expose the hypocrisy of the Democratic party – the party of race exploitation and economic collapse – and reconnect with ambitious, self-reliant urban youth.

We got just a taste in November of what the Republican Party can do with just a minor abandonment by conservatives. Be careful what you wish for. You may get it.
