If she joined the chorus on this, she’d naturally be cast as a “right-wing attacker” and “hypocrite” who just wants Kennedy to be savaged like she was. Sarah has no say in whether Kennedy becomes a Senator, so she makes a polite statement which will be appreciated by liberal, pro-choice women who ordinarily would be inclined to defend Kennedy or Hillary, but not Palin.

And she gets criticized for that, too… Natch.

Oh come on. What attack would be considered just by some of her more fervent supporters? Some people are even agreeing with this assessment of Kennedy just so they aren’t on the wrong side of Sarah and an issue.

I think Sarah Palin’s wrong on this issue, but I think it’s not exactly a stupid position to take.

And, assuming Sarah was NOT unjustly attacked by the winner, her people WILL fight tooth and nail for the GOP cause in the general election.

It was a mistake for Governor Palin to say anything either way about Caroline Kennedy. She should have said that she didn’t know enough about Kennedy to form an opinion.

Yeah, because at this point it would be safe for Palin to say that she didn’t know enough about anything… People would jump on her for not knowing who Caroline Kennedy is or where the state of New York is or what a lawyer is, can’t form an opinion unless someone else writes it for her and so on and so forth.

Now, it’s House of Representatives only .. smaller and bloodier.

When you consider the make up of the current congress, then I guess she right.

Agree with this. You don’t need much to run for Congress. Caroline doesn’t have much (outside of a name), therefore she is qualified. I just don’t think this is a big deal. I have no experience and think I could do just as well as many of the jack-aishes up there right now.

Don’t worry guys, she can still be your pretend girlfriend even if she is never President.
