The best last a long time. That includes actors. It also includes messages about the importance of basic human rights, where human beings are entitled to being treated like human beings. I saw it about a week ago now. Great movie. I haven’t seen many Clint Eastwood films, but I enjoyed this one the most. It was funny, interesting, accurate and quite politically incorrect. One of the best movies of ’08 definitely.

I saw a few times at http://www.JustIn.tv. Very good. Clint is being a man, protecting young ones who wouldn’t stand a chance without him. Teaching a boy how to be a man, and also fighting old demons that he carries from the war. Very good film.

Watched it two weeks back… great movie.. the ending was preditable.

The final song is poignant. Great theme. pretty good acting by the youngsters. and a very good job by an aging thespian.

GET OFF MY LAWN !!!!!!!!!!! I think those words are indicative of the man fiercely proud of his independence and protective of his personal property.. the words of a free man.

I get the impression that Clint doesn’t actually shoot anybody, which would be disappointing. I still want to see it, but putting out a trailer with Clint pointing an M1 Garand but not shooting someone is almost false advertising. Or something.

Eastwood movies use to be part of our Christmas Day. I like all of them except the ones with Sandra What’s-Her-Face. The character sounds just like my dad, an equal opportunity disparager but hired a black gentleman who had been in prison for murder and made sure that regardless of hard times, he always had a pay check.
