I think I read the post too hastily and misunderstood that you were agreeing with what I said.

in his book, he goes out of his way to claim he is not an Isolationist(the ‘non-interventionist’ rhetoric) and then he claims that the evil neocons are actual “isolationist” and have “Isolated” us because of their Foreign Policy with Iraq, military bases, etc.

seriously, check out his book on amazon. You can keyword search. He also relies heavily on Far-left debunked studies on “Suicide Terrorism” by Robert Pape and does the dishonest spin, misinformation and half-truths on what the founders beleived in and actually did.

So you’re saying that Ron Paul isn’t an isolationist just because he says so? And Obama says he’s not a liberal. Paul quacks the isolationist duck’s quack, and I’m perfectly comfortable recognizing isolationist Kool-Aid for what it is. Many things make perfect sense in writing and when they are confined to ideas on paper. The real world is a place where the actors are in constant collisions with each other. To assume that isolation is even possible is folly.

Well, almost nothing, he has lined the pockets of special interests with hundreds of millions, likely multiple billions all told, with taxpayer’s money. All the while being a breathtaking hypocrite and voting against his earmarks knowing full well they’ll get passed anyway. Is it any wonder he gets reelected time and time again?

While Israel is the single largest recipient of aid, virulently anti-American Egypt is second, and if you tally all the aid going to muslem regimes, it far far exceeds what Israel gets. If the goal is to save taxpayers money (which Paul claims yet mysteriously forgets when it’s earmark time), then the logical choice would be to stop funding islamic regimes.

But there is another factor to Paul’s insistence over cutting off Israel, and it has nothing to do with money.

These idiots are also stupid enough to praise Hong Kong as a libertarian paradise, and place to move to. Ignoring how Hong Kong as we know it came to be(British Colony, which they hate).

And that is just proceeding with the assumption that isolation is a prudent course, which I do not agree with. Dr. Paul did not even think that our actions in response to 9/11 were justified which leads one to think that he may simply be a pacifist.

Maybe some of those noxious chemicals combined and got into Ron Paul’s cerebral cortex, because he sure seems brain-damaged to me.

I finally got off my lazy keister and looked up the map of that district that you linked to in an earlier comment. For some strange reason, I thought it was the Sugarland area, but I was very wrong, as you noted. I’ve worked down in the Wharton/ El Campo/Victoria area, and its definitely not too “uptown”, as I recall.
Lake Jackson I only remember from dating a girl down there ages ago, and I still remember that fine fragrant bouquet from the cracking towers in that huge Dow chemical plant. Maybe some of those noxious chemicals combined and got into Ron Paul’s cerebral cortex, because he sure seems brain-damaged to me.
