tim kaine has so mcu time to be part-time DNC chair. things are going so swimmingly here in the Old Dominion. we have a budget crisis, the governor wants to cut state police jobs & salaries (because obviously no one is breaking the law), we have roads that need to be maintained as well as built…the list goes on & on. but he has time for another part-time job.

i live in lunenburg co. we went republican.

Isle of Wight, where I live, usually does as well. At least I’m very fond of my Representative, Forbes. He’s the real deal.

Virginia Governors can’t run for re-election, so I think this is BHO’s way of keeping Tim Kaine politically active for a future run. Kaine can’t go to the Senate, as there are two Dems there already.

I do remember Jerry Kilgore. Didn’t he have some relative with some voter registration problems down near Roanoke? That’s about all I could glean from my local paper.
I quit our local paper for not really giving us any news during election except Obama “puff pieces” The editor is a Republican. Particularly disgusting. State news isn’t always reported with much accuracy either. Many months of whining from Gov. Mark Warner about how bad the budget was ailing right after 9/11. Big build up for raising taxes. He knew as a business man that this would turn around and the second they voted in more sales taxes the economy turned around. We’re stuck again because he is now a Senator. As is the worthless Jim Webb.

Appearance over substance. Yep, you are right. Well, at least my precinct always goes Republican. I love it here.

Don’t forget the fact that he ran against Kilgore who was not the best speaker, but a far better candidate. Compared to him, Kain looked better. As much as I hate this reality, that has an impact on election day, and we’ve been stuck with this moron.

Just to throw my echo in to several fellow Virginia commentors…Take him now. He’s even more worthless than Mark Warner was, and I can’t wait until 2009 elections.

With any God given grace, Bob McDonnell will be elected.

The Lt. Gov. of Virginia is a Republican. Don’t see Tim Kaine leaving until his term is up. The contrast would be too great and the people of VA might figure out that they have been hoodwinked. We might get oil drilling off our east coast and the Dems can’t have that. It would be the solution to our budget deficit and we could actually get some roads built with our own money. No gas tax hike and life would be a lot better. VA is a great state all of a sudden taken over by the Morons.
Tim Kaine is barely a Christain and if he thought he could get away with it he would raise our taxes. Makes a big show of cutting the budget, but just can’t seem to do it enough. He certainly lacks personality and I will never understand how he ever got to be governor. Well, yes I do. He married the daughter of a popular Republican VA governor and the father in law endorsed him along with a RHINO state legislater. Go ahead and make him DNC chair. Get him out of here! At least he can’t run for Senator–yet!!!!!

Kaine has been passed off to most Americans as being a hybrid Dem. He is supposedly pro-gun and pro-Christianity and I think the Dems think he will somewhat soften their image of being extreme leftist. Remember Obama supposedly change his leftist leanings during the campaign and also the buzz right after he was elected about Obama possibly going to the center. RIGHT! Anyhow, any pick other than Kaine would be someone that was truly representative of the Leftist that just got elected, and the Dems want Americans to think they are really more Conservative and Centrists. Good luck on that one Dems!

The next year is going to be SOoooooo fun as we watch and laugh at the in-fighting between the “big tent” Liberals over which way the Country is headed… What part of the party is really in control and WHO is leading it…

But, in reality, the Dems only need a part time leader for the DNC, they are kicking the Republicans butts at every turn… Why? Simple, we have NO LEADERSHIP. Good news though, undeniably corrupt Terry McAulliffe is going to run for Governor, in an effort to loot the treasury for the Democrat Party.

If it were possible to move this state further away from Washington DC, it would be the right course of action.

I foresee a lot of infighting within the Democratic Party in the new 2 years as they try to decide who really runs things. I think Reid and Pelosi supported Obama because they thought they could have their way due to his lack of experience. I think that there will be a bunch of folks thrown under Team Obama’s bus in the next 2 years.
