Exactly right. I have to use PCs for vertical-market software in the office (though I run a WinXP virtual machine on my MacBook Pro), but for everything else I use the vastly superior Mac OS.

Great parody, though. Those ONN production values are so good you could throw that on one of the cable-news networks and not notice the difference.

When Apple first appeared on the scene, they tried to own everything computer. The computers were expensive and could only use Apple software. There was no open architecture, so only Apple could make applications… bla bla bla…

Um, there is so many inaccuracies to your statement, its almost shocking.

When Apple first appeared on the scene, back in the mid-late 70′s, their computer ran on BASIC, a computer language invented more than 10 year earlier. Anybody could write programs for the Apple and they did. Including a fella named Bill Gates.

When the Mac came out in ’84, it was the first personal computer that had an easy to use graphical interface, which was a big plus for people in the publishing industry, graphic designers, etc.

When are they going to develop computers that read your mind? If you want lazy–that would be it; just surgically insert a probe into your mind and presto!

They’re working on eliminating that step…instead, the next thing Apple will do will be surgically inserting a probe directly into your wallet. I can just see the marketing slogan for it: “…and gee, no more waiting in line for an actual product. Apple has made it much more efficient this way!”

And I loved the guy that said “I’ll buy anything that’s shiny and made by Apple.” That’s about what most of the Apple people are like. Especially when it comes to iPods and the iPhone. There are so many items that are much better and they are better deals, but people still give their money away to Apple.

Just wait until the touchscreen Macbook arrives! It will feature a touchpad keyboard that you can switch to the screen and then back to keyboard. The complaints about streaks and fingerprints will evaporate because the user never touches the actual screen.

If course, the base/keyboard touchpad will require a bit of power because it will have to be extremely bright. Soon as energy concerns are meet…..

Still, Apple sucks.

But what else can one do – its the best there is.
