Still, I appreciated the ban because taking pictures generally takes dad out of the experience--being in the moment is what counts. Live blogging would also take away from that experience. Plus, I assume grandpa does not get to go into the delivery room anyway so live blogging would be from the waiting room perspective. On the photography side moms generally does not need a close up series of photos or video of a c-section, crowning or afterbirth. Somethings are best left undocumented.
