I wasn’t going to post on it but Drudge, in his supreme wisdom/desperation, has deemed it officially Newsworthy. The three kids in America who were up late on New Year’s Eve and inexplicably tuned to Anderson Cooper were doubtless scandalized, but like Ace, I’m offended only by the laziness of it. I did a quickie Google search to see how ancient this ancient comeback is and gave up when I found it cited in the chapter on stock lines in “The Complete Guide to Hack Stand-up Comedy,” a compendium that dates to the mid-nineties featuring material that’s been around “since the age of vaudeville.” Proof positive that Dick Clark wasn’t the oldest thing on TV Wednesday night. (Dick Clark age jokes fall under Chapter 6f of the Guide, I believe.)
I’m surprised the South Park guys haven’t added it to Jimmy Vulmer’s comic repertoire. Exit question: Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? Wow, what a great audience! Content warning.

I can. What she did with those clips of her USO tours once she got back was decidedly anti-war. If she wants to support the troops, have her and the rest of her ulterior motive liberal friends stay the hell home.
TOBY KEITH, WOOOOHHHH!!!
Now he puts on a USO show.

This woman is so pathetically lost. What scares me is that she has a huge following.
What does that say about us (meaning America)?
Her and Silverman have got to be the most lost and vulger “women” on the circuit.
They aren’t even funny. America has really gotten dumbed-downed.

Moral character is the way you act when you think no one is watching.
She’s nothing but a publicity hound.

Because of this, every child in America will turn gay from hearing the word dick uttered on television, just like when Prince played at the Superbowl and did the same thing

I would rather take an icepick to my ear than have to listen to that woman’s awful voice.

Is Kathy Griffin related to Peter Griffin and the rest of the cartoon characters on Family Guy? My hunch is that she is.
Kathy Griffin is soooo 2007……….

Wow – what a screw up. She sounded desperate.

According to this, she’s Peter’s cousin. It’s sad enough that I looked it up, but sadder still when you read the lengths to which people will go to add details to this article:

Best use of the line in a [13-yr.-old?] ‘recent’ comedy bit: Mr. Show – GloboChem Content Warning.
“Look lady, I don’t come down to where you work and knock the — out of *your* —!”
(First & last time I’d ever heard this line used, FWIW. Includes a cameo by another favorite lefty, Jeneane Garofalo -)

Geez, she gets hammered for not being original and she got hammered for making that original Jesus joke when she won an Emmy. Girl can’t win!
Anyhow, even though I’ve heard the joke a million times, her delivery is hilariou.
