President Obama will find a way to equivocate on every potentially controversial issue

Just like clinton and carter. The demofascists give us ethically challenged, cowardly presidents so the republican presidents that follow have messes to clean up. The demofascists then point to all the prblems , blame the republican president and slowly take control of the country through the senate and judiciary. Eventually the president will be about as relevent as the queen.

..(blowing nose and wiping eyes..being a Republican I used a kleenex not my sleeve) President elect Obama is still studying the results of the poll to determine which side to support..so far its 49/49 with 2% undcecided so he aint sayin nothin.
That doesn’t mean President Obama isn’t on the ball,(right now its a basketball or a golf ball depending on where the press cameras are) he is thoughtfully preparing by having his speech writers concentrate on “A HOPE for peace and a CHANGE, can’t we all just get along … Yes we can” type theme speech for when the poll results come in. It will be the usual Obama teleprompter talk saying nothing in particular and meaning whatever the listener wants it to mean.

This is a man who voted “present” over 100 times rather than take a position on controversial issues.

Did anyone seriously think he would be willing to wade into these thorny issues?

My predication: President Obama will find a way to equivocate on every potentially controversial issue. He’ll follow the conventional wisdom (i.e., what the New York Times tells him to do) whenever possible, and when there is no CW, he’ll ignore the issue altogether.

He’s waiting to hear what Bush says about it. Then he’ll agree. But he’ll do it in that soothing baritone of his that sets Matthews’ inner-thigh-parts all a-quiver.

Because, if you’re an empty suit, you should at least be a smooth-talking, well-toned, and (above all) clean one.
