Skip ahead to 2:10 if you’re pressed for time. The spontaneity of it proves its sincerity, but he’s awfully quick to back down. Which, given who’s making the claim, maybe he shouldn’t have been.
I’m giving you the full clip rather than the Newsbusters version so that you can hear him knock McCain for supporting amnesty at the beginning. To repeat the question I posed yesterday, does he know that Sarah “The Real Deal” Palin supports it too?

All “real deal” people support some form of amnesty. Those of us who do so recognize the “Know-Nothing” nature of amnesty opposition, and know also that Abraham Lincoln would have agreed with us.
Joe needs to read up a bit on the history of immigration to understand what a tortured path immigration law has taken from the time of Lincoln until today, and to understand the difference of the current laws from those Lincoln would have supported.
