Gee, you’d think the Dems won the past 3 prez elections or something.

Of course, since he sometimes appears on Fox News, that’s enough to disqualify him from moderating a debate. Thou shalt not ask tough questions of the Anointed One. Has anyone heard from George Stephanopoulos after he asked Obama about William Ayers and Jeremiah Wright? Oh, sorry, no more questions in debates about that subject, right?

Personally I can’t wait to see all those taxpayer-funded illegal alien road crews re-surfacing our highways. We wouldn’t want any of those vicious Mexican drug-runners who make such frequent use of our highways to hit a pothole, now would we?

And how could anyone doubt that this brilliant make-work plan of FDR/Obama’s will magically regenerate our faltering economy? As the MSM told us so many times, the man’s sooooo smart . . . and did he mention he went to Harvard? That alone is proof that he’s better than the rest of us.

I don’t think the questions were unfair, although Gibson’s questioning of Palin was far different from the tack he took with Obama. It’s the response to Palin’s answers were unfair. Cf. Joe Biden under the same circumstances. Obama, for that matter. I’m sure that Obama “crushing the interviews” attracted those precious moderates. Right.

A great lead question by Bernard Goldberg to Palin would be about whether Couric and the other Obama posterior kissers made her feel like she was being Ratherized by an entire group of Democrat suck-ups only posing as reporters and journalists.

Anyway, yeah, Goldberg would be a good moderator. Ain’t never, ever happenin’ though.

The moderator was a small factor.

The main ones were the financial problems, the MSM and most painfully, Juan McLame. In the debates and the campaign our Juan allowed an empty suit with no real accomplishments, dizzy ideas he advocated to seduce the left’s crazies and a spotty record on war and foreign affairs to smile and dance right past him. He believes that being a ‘nice’ guy will get him there. And the MSM may never tell the truth about The One. They may get a little chippy now that the election is over.

But about Juan…I kept wanting to ask him about another Arizona politician’s comment:

“I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue!”

I can just see the Lefty parishioners gathered
