The Good News: Eventually Wolverine has the Adamantium re-bonded to his skeleton. (By Apocalypse) So currently he’s back to his usual bad-ass self.

Provided as a public service, notwithstanding my own disinterest in/contempt for superhero movies, for those of you who saw and cared about the X-Men flicks. From what I gather, this Wolverine fellow has a body-hair problem and is angry about something or other having to do with the war and somehow ends up in a magical solution so that he can grow steel blades in his knuckles, hm? Only if they’re fighting aliens. A few exceptions though, Black Hawk Down and We Were Soldiers come to mind. Otherwise, yeah, in many movies (during and post Vietnam) anything military related usually has a negative message.

Captain America-dead…would be really awkward to see him in a movie (after the comic killed him with a sniper).

Batman-dead…WHY in the world this was not brought up before? Over at the forums of DC they are spitting mad. They write (dunno about this) but that they copied that finale from another comic series, just replaced characters. If there is one person that could pull that stunt is the current director of this series.

There is a book that I want to have, I guess it is called something like “Book of the Dead” where there are all the characters that have been killed, complete profile and who-when they were killed. There is another book with current comic heroes, but alive and complete profile. Very interesting read!

In the Comics we learned that his regenerative abilities and claws were a natural genetic mutation. Which is what allowed him to survive the metal bonding process…

The way we learned this is eventually Magneto uses his powers to rip the metal from Wolverine’s bones, but he still has the claws.

The Phoenix storyline has been re-hashed throughout the X-Men comics.. I thought the movies did alright retelling them in their own way. My Favorite was the Fall of the Mutants stories from the late 80′s/early90′s.

Seriously though, dissing Wolverine is like dissing Batman or Superman… Wolverine has been voted over and over again as the most popular comic character of all time. Show some respect ya’ll..

This movie looks great.

He is one of the most interesting superheros ever conceived.

Almost as fascinating as Obamessiah.
