Video: Obama starting to get testy at media’s questions about Blago

As testy, at least, as the Prince of Peace is capable of getting. Via Breitbart, looks like this scene might have jarred something loose in the press corps because reporters were talking tough afterwards. Good work, boys — you’re only six months too late.

Thanks. I’d read about Blago wanting him out, but I’d forgotten the name.

I was listening to Hannity today and one of his liberal callers, Reggie I think, already said he accepts that Obama is a liar. He okay with it because they all are.
Oh wait Colin, no, no I wasn’t listening to Hannity.
Geez, someone is knocking on my door now….
Help….

“We need the Sam Donaldsons of the world.” Well, I guess Alter has pretty much sized up the WH press corps and decided that they are lacking.
Not that I disagree.

If Obama says “I don’t want you to waste you question…”, the reporter should tell Obama that if he is not going to answer the question, he doesn’t want to waste his time, and walk out.
That would put an end to this nonsense right quick.
This is yet another example of the arrogance of Obama. He really seems to think that a reporter would more value having him answer a stupid question fully than a cogent question evasively. This act is going to get real old, real quick…
gridlock2 on December 16, 2008 at 10:58 PM
First off, the questions were not particularly tough. And second, if they were questioning a Republican the next reporter would have asked the same questions, and the third reporter and the fourth and the fifth and the sixth etc. until either they got an answer or the president exploded in rage, which would then be shown every 15 minutes in an endless loop for the next 2 days on every cable and network new show.

Yep, reallllly important stuff. It has to be important, since it’s still a moonbat staple.
I just wonder why the liberal contributors here don’t have much to say in a thread like this? I think I’ve seen only one or two come to Obama’s defense.
ddrintn on December 16, 2008 at 11:33 PM
I would have loved for Sarah to have said, “Oh, I don’t read newspapers. Maybe the Anchorange/Juneau papers, but I spend most of my time reading InStyle, Outdoor World, and all NRA literature I receive.”

Tonight, I heard reports that Emmanuel had as many as 21 conversations with Blago about the Senate seat. Are we to believe that only in conversation 21 that Blago started talking about pay-for-play?
Sorry, I’m not buying it. I don’t know whether (and, if so, how) this reached Obama’s level. It clearly reached Emmanuel’s level, and the onus is completely on Obama’s transition team to explain what Emmanuel knew, when he knew, and what he did with the information.
My suspicion is that Emmanuel tried to play ball with Blago for a bit, but let it go too far and got in over his head. If I’m correct, Emmanuel has to go.

So here’s to all of you MORONS who voted for a shallow man, a ego the size of his ears, a empty suit, a false Messiah. And to all of you so called Conservatives who stayed home because we did not want the lesser of two evils. I hope your fat and happy now, we have 4 years of this liar and his thugs in store. If you have not done so yet, time to hit the Gun Stores and stock up. We have a POTUS who is going to “impose” his will on us and no one is going to stand up for America. The MSM is just starting to get it, this man BHO is a danger to us all. To the Constitution, to Freedom, to America. Be ready for anything, it’s gonna get bumpy. Way to go MORONS AND IDIOTS, there should be a test for folks to be able to vote. We have too many fools that voted themselves a “check” and voted against America.

I remember a debate I had with a young liberal back when Clinton was running for the first time.
He told me that he knew Clinton was somebody who totally lacked character, but he supported Clinton because Clinton supported policies that he believed in.
I asked the young man, that if Clinton had no character, how could he be sure that Clinton would actually carry out any of his promises.
3 years later I was wishing I could contact that young man to ask him if he still believed that supporting someone without character was such a good idea.
It looks like liberals never learn.

The media broke him and the media bought him. If he falls, they fall.

I recall the days when conservatives cheered every time President Bush laid the smack down on the press corps with an arrogant, smarmy non-response to a legit question. Things like “straght shooter” “atta boy!” and “you tell em!” were bandied about as signs of approval of said smackdowns. Now Obama does it and there’s an uproar. Mmmm smell the hypocrites in the air.

I’ve always seen the press as a pack of feral dogs, and I mean that in the most derogatory manner possible. As long as the ferals get fed what they want Obama will be ok, but once Obama cuts off or even alters the food supply they’ll turn on him in a hot minute. Never trust feral dogs, especially when they circle behind you.

- No, he deserves exactly what he got; he spent the entire campaign on his knees instead of investigating anything.
- “Blacks”? I strongly recommend that if you want to know about the election, you do a little reading. Black turnout was nearly identical to 2004, 14% of the total votes to 13% then. When you throw out racially opinionated statements, but your facts are wrong, people might mistakenly get the impression that you are a racist, and discredit your opinions.
Just so you know.

While I accepted defeat by Obama, I never gave him the benefit of the doubt (or “a chance” as you call it), and, based upon his campaign rhetoric, I never wished him success in office; in fact, I’ve wished for as many broken campaign promises as possible from the Chicago Jesus. For in any Obama success would lie the demolition of the United States of America as I have come to know her and love her.

the_nile on December 17, 2008 at 12:42 PM
I watched the exhange. Obama was somewhat testy, I guess, but the main thing is how little “provocation” that triggered it. The reporter asked an obvious question, he did not interrupt O! (when O! interrupted him) and he was not particularly aggressive in posing his follow up question.
Lightworker is really weak off script, just as most of us had all observed during the campaign. Although it’s amusing to watch when he’s dealing with political things, I’m scared to death of how he’ll do with foreign leaders on matters of national security.

That is the only way you can explain why the Dumba$$’s in

Gov. David Paterson unveils dire New York State budget that includes new taxes, layoffs and cuts
Trying to close a $15.4 billion budget gap, Paterson called for 88 new fees and a host of other taxes, including an “iPod tax” that taxes the sale of downloaded music and other “digitally delivered entertainment services.”
“We’re going to have to take some extreme measures,” Paterson said Tuesday after unveiling the slash-and-burn budget.
Additional items the state is considering raising fees and taxes on:
Don’t bother asking the mayor any direct questions,he will tell you to “not waste your question” and just read the report.

Remember during the bogus Plame scandel,Bush told the press early on:
Anybody caught breaking the law would be dealt with and he was not going to comment on an ongoing investigation.
Liberals and their activists friends in the press went wild accusing Bush of stonewalling and protecting his corrupt friends.
After all that huffing and puffing about Bush/Cheney in papers and televisions across the US,a democrat Armitage
ends up being the leaker.
Where is all that gun-ho investigative press at now.Where are all the probing questions and follow ups.Where are all the editorials and movie stars calling Obama out?
Where is all that transparency that Obama promised?
Where is all the Change?
Just more double standards and hypocrisy coming from Pravda west, bowing down on their news to their Messiah like the good whipped dogs they are.

I’m one of your “so called conservatives” who left the Presidential choice blank rather than compromise my values and vote McCain. I encouraged my friends to do the same. In my case, it was not the lesser of two evils, it was two totally unacceptable candidates. I proudly stand by my decision and am reminded everytime McCain is interviewed (post-election) why I made that decision. I can’t understand how you would be happier if McCain had won, but that is your choice.
