If this is all the American people expect, carefully worded denials that will hold up in court, then the people of this country are unworthy of the blood that’s been shed to support their comfortably cynical lives. If there was anywhere left to go, to leave these jackasses to the mess they’ve made, I’d go there in a heartbeat. I’m considering Israel lately. They might be suffering from the same socialistic mindset, but they still have the courage to put themselves at risk to defend their liberty. Maybe the influx of some new blood will strengthen their resolve against the moral equivocators. Maybe people of such resolve only ever existed in our imaginations.

Maybe Detroit will finally collapse on itself and the rats will flee for more fertile grounds, leaving only those of us who are willing to work to rebuild to be left in peace. Until it becomes valuable enough to plunder again.

Just curious… why would you think this considering Blagojevich is recording cursing out Obama because he (or his team) won’t give him anything but “appreciation” for the senate seat. Also consider that shortly after that recording, Obama named his top choice for the senate seat to the White House staff.

Doesn’t that signal that Obama (or his team) was not willing to “play ball” with Obama?

Nope..not at all really. What raises my eyebrow is if there was no real connection of any sort..WHY would blago be so irate about it? Why would he seem to think that he SHOULD be given something? Then be so bothered when he found out there was nothing comin down the pike for him?

Guys, all the evidence so far points to no crime being committed by Team Obama. I’m the kind of person who likes to see some sort of evidence of wrong doing when democrats are involved before I start accusing people of it.

No, I’m the one who’s actually considering reality when drawing my conclusions.

Advisor B made this comment. It seems Advisor B is a Blagojevich advisor and has nothing to do with Obama. How I read it is that he’s speculating that it would be more appealing to Obama because it would be harder to trace back to Obama… IF Obama decided to go along with it.

Remember, at this point they hadn’t even pitched the idea to the “president-elect advisor.” So it’s just speculation on their part.

All he’s saying is that BO can’t be responsible for the actions of people who associate themselves with him. You know, like the US Attorney General, Secretary of State, White House Chief of Staff, the VP, Bill Ayers, Tony Rezko, Rev. Wright, etc…..

Unless, of course, it suits you to do so. Like GWB’s US Attorney General, Secretary of State, White House Chief of Staff, the VP, etc…..

I’ve seen no trashing here. People asking legitimate questions,yes. People demanding answers from The One and getting none. This will end when The One tells what he knew and when he knew it. It would be a tragedy of epic proportions to go through an historic inauguration only to have comrade President cuffed and perp-walked out of the White House within a few weeks of taking power. It could very well happen. He needs to come clean now about everything from Rezko to Blago.
