Slightly OT: Odd coincidence, but after reading through the article about the Serb massacre that Ed linked to, I noticed this passage:

The Bratunac Brigade discovered four children aged between 8 and 14 among the Bosniaks; they were taken to the barracks in Bratunac. Europeans don’t have the greatest reputations for hanging tough, and the South Ossetians and the Russian masters must believe that a few incidents of this type will force the West to retreat on its alliance with Georgia. Are they right?

I don’t know. Has Georgia purchased more lobbyists here since McCain and his lobbyist foreign policy adviser didn’t get in? Maybe Saakashvili will do another daytime TV tour like he did after the last altercation.
