Unless you’ve been under a rock or the influence of the Obamessiah’s Kool-Aid, you’ve probably seen the headlines about the Governor of Illinois being arrested for trying to sell off Obama’s vacated Senate seat….

In fact, one can see the hand of government with each of those groups of supposedly bad actors (Wagner Act, EPA, Fannie & Freddie). Part of the problem are our elected officials (Dodd, Frank, Shelby, Blagojevich), but a good deal of the problem are either caused or aggravated by public employees, both elected and otherwise.

Exactly right! The entire Liberal machine is corrupt to the core, and the MSM is sitting on top of the heap. This POS Governor is the tip of the iceberg, much bigger fish to fry.

What is more telling is what Obama said to the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists in May of 2007:

”I know who brought me to the dance and I know who’s going to take me to the next dance,” Obama said.

”We’ve got to make the union movement stronger in this country,” he said. ”We need a president who doesn’t choke when he says the word union.”

One wonders what LA County gets by letting SEIU officials featherbed on government salaries.

I think this sort of collusion between Unions and government officials is rampant all over the country.

When the transplants can build the cars that faithful buyers of Detroit metal want, then we can talk about sinking the Big Three. Otherwise, I dont want to be forced into buying a Honda Trabant when the Big Three have more performance per dollar.

As I have said repeatedly these companies, with the possible exception of Ford, were headed to bankruptcy. The Dems/Obama are using the current crisis to rob the American taxpayer of billions of dollars to do two things–prop up their voter base and accelerate the nationalizing of our industries.

Prediction–Health-care and energy production will be next over the following eight years.

Five years max, you’ll be as bad as the EU with regard to the right to hire and fire.

I am seeing reports that the Repubs may put a hold on the legislation which will stop it in it’s tracks for now.

Prior to this banking collapse the auto companies would have all gone into Chapter 11 and the Dems would have not been able to prevent it.

It is up to the Repub Senators now. I don’t think they have it in them to stop it. That is why they are the minority party and they will stay that way for a very long time to come. They no longer have any core beliefs about small government and fiscal restraint. They will make the usual excuses and vote for the bailout.

Trouble is that goes directly against the state constitution.

When you become a beggar and live off the public dole, you are no longer your own master. B of A is a welfare queen, like quite a few other “great” American companies. They’ll protest a bit, but will do what they’re told to get the check.
