I am pretty sure that the statute is referring to the non-citizen parent. Since Mrs Dunham was a natural born citizen of the united states of america, and Barack Obama was born in the US State of Hawaii, Obama was born within the Geographical bounds of the United States of America. Case law is relatively clear that Obama meets the standard for Natural Born Citizenship based on those standards.

Some good, some real bad…if you are going to elect someone, wouldn’t you want more then just cursory details?
If you were going to hire someone as an attorney (and Lord knows the President handles a lot of legal stuff), wouldn’t you want to know his academics?
Bush, Gore, Clinton, all of them exposed themselves that way.
I think academics is important. Very unusual to hide or not publish law review articles (what it shows is that he really wasn’t much of a student?)…and the last statement is really strange, we are talking about students not his professors.
Medical records should be released, all of them.
And he should definitely expose any conflict of interests. You can do that without breaking client privilege.
I could care less about his BC, as long as he shows an acceptable one, and he has.
Baptism, whatever he says…family history, not too important unless something was really strange…like his mom and dad were communist organizers, or worse (but that’s not the case), marriage license, who cares?

Does it matter one rip if he was born in the United States, the court in the ELG case says no.

Debbie Schlussel had this story back on November 13, 2008 she says; “if the signature on the document is in fact his, our next Commander-in-Chief may have committed a federal crime in 2008, well within the statute of limitations on the matter”.
