Thanks for the compliment. I support Sarah because of her intellectual honesty, her ability to motivate voters to the polls and courage (grace under pressure as Hemingway put it). Many politicians have one or two of the three, but seldom does anybody have 3 out of the 3. As you know I am a sports fan. Diamonds in the rough seldom emerge under the radar. When they do, they must be first acknowledged, then nurtured and groomed and finally be provided the opporunity to fulfill their destiny. Fortunately I believe the majority of the base has recognized this and will never abandon her. For you GOP dissidents, you are stuck with Sarah for years to come. Get over it! Obama is the enemy, not Sarah.

The irony is that Obama’s ancestors were never slaves. If white people subconsciously elected him to atone for the historical sin of slavery, then Obama got to ride in on other people’s pain because he is half white and half African. His father was from Kenya. His ancestors were Kenyans. They never wore shackles or were chased by hounds or whipped or forced to pick cotton. The only good thing to come out of this election is that perhaps our obsession with race will be able to fade away now that we’ve “proven” for all time that we’re not a racist country.

I think my personal favorite would be a Palin/Thompson ticket or even — and this one is way out there — a Palin/Gingrich ticket. The young reformer matched up with the wise old bird is the ticket. It worked for Bush 43 and Obama (With the help of the MSM, Biden was able to maintain the facade of being wise. No one questioned that he was old). I can’t think of any Senate Republican I would want as a vp candidate. (Here’s a freaky, funny, and frightening thought — Palin/McCain in 2012! Just kidding of course!)

Huntsman’s expertise on China is quite a nice bonus to any ticket. But two governors on the same ticket is very tricky. They risk being accused of having no foreign policy expertise.

You have misapplied the words of Jesus. The phrase “judge not” does not mean that everybody should just be nice, pat each other on the back, and let immoral conduct go on as if nothing ever happened. It doesn’t mean we haven’t the right to draw conclusions about wrong conduct and wickedness by others. You forget Mr. Australis, that we are told elsewhere in Scripture to “Try the spirits,” to “prove all things,” and to “beware of false prophets.” We are to use discernment and distinguish between the false and the true, but we are not to condemn others which I have not done. Jesus warns against condemning the actions or motives of others. Only the LORD has the right, since He has full knowledge of a person’s actions and motives.

CORRECT – The MSM KNOWS that Huckabee connects with avg people, and it scares them.
