I beg to differ with all of you, and like Caroline I am a New Yorker. She is very capable and a much better choice than Bill and Bobby Jr.

So really now - you are all Republicans/Conservatives and many are non-residents of the Great Empire State - who would you choose?

No moronic comment here to bite on, so I’ll just say I think she’ll make an excellent Senator.

What makes an "excellent senator"? Anyway, we're even more justified in our faith in Sarah Palin than you are in your confidence in Caroline Kennedy. Moronic enough for you?

the publicity-shy daughter of martyred President John Kennedy

Ed, words mean things. You get upset when the MSM gets fast-and-loose with adjectives. Your use of the adjective martyr conjurs up the aphorism about "people living in glass houses".

Sorry... forgot the tag line to this. Caroline Kennedy should always and forever be refered to as "Ted Kennedy's niece".
Not so funny, but keeps it real.

Just what we need, another unaccomplished, incompetent absolutely worthless legacy in Congress.

Why not elect the Kennedy family dog to Congress?

Besides the fact that the Kennedy family dog would do a better job than any preceding Kennedy, that is?

Not Funny

I've heard a number of times the theory that Barack is not good for comedians...
Oh contraire my sweet. It's just that they refuse to acknowledge the level of hypocrisy and "do anything for power" ness of this guy.
.
My daughter and I spend many moments crackin jokes about his reversals and One up-edness...
But seriously folks...
Our highest moment was the script that we envisioned for SNL in which Barry is interrupted by a text message during a briefing about the Cuban Missile Crises Part II. The message says that Bill Ayres has cherry bombed all the WH toilets (simultaneously), cut to Ayers checking a box on his "to-do" list. Also cut to Rev Wright and Michelle putting anti-white graffiti in all the tourist areas.
.
Meanwhile Hillary is seen in the background stealing all the "B"s and "O"s from the keyboards as WJC runs by chasing an intern down the hallway yelling “gib me dat dress... you chubby little ho. I know your type”.
.
It all comes to a head when Barry has a behind closed doors meeting with OBL that starts with a fist bump, and then a mission accomplished banner dropping from the ceiling... Fade to black... or alt ending... to white if you prefer not to be called racist.
.

Of course this could all be happening before the inauguration, just for added realism.

It's time for all of us to start publicly questioning Caroline Kennedy's qualifications to become a US Senator. We were told Palin wasn't qualified to become VP by the same people who are pushing Kennedy. I hope all the conservative blog sites will put the pressure on and keep it up. Palin earned her position in life the hard way, she worked for it. Kennedy has done nothing yet she should start at the top?

Caroline Kennedy for New York Senator?

Gag me with a silver spoon.

I guess you could say that the commie marxist libs are at least attempting to be consistent.

She’s qualified how? …. Oh-oh she’s logged thousands of hours on yachts relating to all the little people at the various ports of call. And all the book signings, and garden parties, etc. etc.

Apparently the DNC, a water-walker & a blind man are contemplating replacing a dumpy, unqualified, socialist carpetbagger, with a goofy-looking, unqualified, socialist carpetbagger who also has the added burden of being related to the MA swimmer.

Jesus, Mary & Joseph just where is an honest straightforward civil servant when you need one? For certain they ain’t located in MA or NY.

Maybe after she gets appointed she and Hillary can compare notes on their respective crime family ties. You know contrast and compare the booze running Mafia vs. the Arkincide drug gangs.

benny shakar on December 5, 2008 at 11:56 PM
Well, given your affection for the "Palin is da debbil" sort of thinking, I would imagine you'd be more at home on a more leftward-leaning site that panders to such ignorance. Any of the moonbatty ones would do. Maybe you could enlighten many of your compadres on such vital information as who the Vice President-elect is.

Gracie: Thanks! I’ll look for the book in January!
Ah, January. Unlike Dan Rather, I am dreading the 20th. I’ll need a good book to keep my mind off of the current events, I’m just say’en.

You are welcome.
Until Caroline Kennedy endorsed BO, I believed she was the saving grace for the Kennedy's...now I see her poor insight and lack of objectivity. Caroline co-authored 2 books..In Our Defense and Right To Privacy, both of which used our Constitution as a background. In time she will see how grossly flawed BO is and how unable he is to lead. If she becomes the Senator from NY taking HRC's place, she will do a quietly respectful job. She is no leader, but a good woman.

I'd like to nominate Ashley Alexandra Dupré. We know she'll do anything, anything, for the voters. Caroline? Maybe when she was in college but not now.

Oh well, what's another pretty face without much experience, any way? Hope and change and all that sort of thing. Seriously, would it be too much to ask the Dems to at least look for some one with real governmental experience to replace Senator Clinton?
