My life has spanned 75 years and I’ve ate everything that didn’t eat me. We grew up on cornbread and beans, bacon and eggs for breakfast, pork chops in the good times and just the cornbread in the lean times with beans. Give me Big Macs and Whoppers, Wendies or what ever with a large order of fries. Man, these are the good times—Let’em roll !

The folk costume of the guy from the far North of Romania is what caught my eye (the dinky lampshade hat is the giveaway). The beef in the MacDonald’s burgers we had a few years ago in Brasov (Transylvania) was absolutely awesome–way superior to the squishy crap they serve here.

What about the BK ad where the kids go to a Wendy’s and are asked if they want a baked potato and the guy comments, “Are we in Russia?” Where is the outrage over BK inciting a new cold war with that ad?

I’m part Romanian and find nothing wrong with this. And as for Romanians having a low meat diet that is nonsense, they were only low flesh consumers because communists screwed up livestock production like they screw everything else up (see Zimbabwe for example). Righteous BK ads, the fact that libs are screaming is a true measure to its propriety and genius.

I know the “I am Man” one was pretty darn hateful and disrespectful to everyone but white males and I suspect that this series will be pretty much hateful and disrespectful to everyone but white males.

This is a commercial. These are actors hired to play a part, not actual villagers. If you notice, you never actually see the actors biting into and chewing the burger. This is not done in commercials, since 1. The food can go bad,take after take after take, under the hot lights. 2. Sometimes it is dressed up to look pretty for the camera (the food that is – so it really isn’t edible). 3. If the food is biten into, there is a cup provided to the actor to split the food out. I just can’t believe in this day and age that there would be people who actually believe a commercial. To top that off for third world residents they looked pretty prosperous.

Yes. Anyone who wonders which is better between a Whopper and a Big Mac has apparently never eaten at Whataburger. Of course, the best burgers are at places like Fuddrucker’s or Chili’s, but in the fast food chain category, BK and McD occupy the lowest two rungs of the ladder.

I find that usually the best burgers are from places you never heard of. Tahe the Hamburger Inn in Delaware OH for instance. Those burgers give me the Homer Simpson drool…
