Jim Martin #3 and #2: Twas the night before the runoff …

Two new videos will remind Georgia voters that Election 2008 hasn’t quite finished, at least not for the Senate. The NRSC’s ad for today hits the real issue for Peach State voters: do they want to give Barack Obama a rubber-stamp Congress, or do they want to preserve some check on a runaway liberal agenda?
The election comes down to a choice for Peach State voters. Do they send Saxby Chambliss back for another term, or do they want to remove the last obstacle for a president they didn’t back in the first place?
Find out more about Martin’s record here, and if you want to preserve any hope of a Republican filibuster, contribute to Saxby Chambliss here or at the NRSC.

Our liberty depends on a filibuster to stop Obama-insanity.
Is it open season on ACORN voter fraud criminals yet?

Sarah Palin will fire up Georgia Republicans all over the state with 4 rallies today. Expect another wink pic from Allahpundit and voluminous ignorant hateful commenters, as usual. Great for traffic, isn’t it?

Yeah, Brian, except for the dude filibustering for the last two days on the other thread.
But, Sarah will be pure gold down there.

58 Dems and a few RINOs is plenty.

I love these ads. These are the types of ads that should been done…
Ah, never mind. Whichever agency was used did a great job.

Too bad the ads that are actually running on the radio in Georgia never get around to mentioning any of this.
Meanwhile Jim Martin is running a t.v. spot which goes after Saxby for voting for the bailout (saving Wall Street at the expense of Main Street and the middle class yadda yadda yadda) as if Martin himself wouldn’t have joined his fellow Dems and especially their great leader, Harry Reid, and voted for it.
Martin is an utterly repugnant human being, right up there in Al Franken territory.

Libertarian and reasonably conservative talk radio host Neal Boortz covers this well today. He says it’s all about turnout. http://boortz.com/nealz_nuze/2008/12/georgia-the-voters-get-to-deci.html

Contrast and compare. Saxby is out campaigning with Sarah Palin, while Jim Martin is with rapper Ludacris.
A sad metaphor, hopefully not a lasting one.

It’s insane to me that Martin is running as Barack Obama’s number one fan in a state that Obama lost big.
