Jim Martin #4: More for Martin, less for police officers and teachers

posted at 10:40 am on November 29, 2008 by Ed Morrissey

Today’s NRSC web ad, coming four days before Georgia’s run-off election between Saxby Chambliss and Jim Martin, attack three votes Martin cast in the Georgia state legislature on compensation. Martin seems rather stingy when it comes to police officers and teachers, but generous when it comes to … state legislators:

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that Martin was a legislator himself.

Find out more about Martin’s record here, and if you want to preserve any hope of a Republican filibuster, contribute to Saxby Chambliss here or at the NRSC.

Oh, wonderful, the “Republican” promises to be a bigger puppet of public employee unions.

You have to admit Martin is pretty shrewd politician, bringing Palin down there to campaign.

Jim Martin is a toady. The police officers and firefighters in Atlanta keep getting screwed by Mayor Shirley Franklin (D) with help from the democrats like Martin in the state legislature. Martin lost to Casey Cagle, Lt. Gov. (R) and is a perennial candidate and media hog. Think of Chucky Shumer without all the charm. LOL

As much as Saxby is squishy at times; at least he does not worship Obamamessiah.

btw benny s. – Palin is a huge hit in Georgia and we are darn proud of it. We like people who “walk the walk” and don’t care much for the Left Coast nor the DC – NE corridor…

It is amazing how both party’s ads are aimed at the politically ignorant voter.
