Jim Martin #5: Talking turkey and taxes
posted at 9:29 am on November 28, 2008 by Ed Morrissey
The NRSC wished Georgia voters a happy Thanksgiving yesterday with another in its series of web ads about Democratic challenger Jim Martin. This ad returns to the sales-tax hike that Martin championed, and reminds Peach Staters what that would have meant for their holiday get-togethers:
Zell Miller has hit the campaign trail for Republican incumbent Senator Saxby Chambliss. He’s warning that Chambliss may be all that’s left to oppose a far-Left agenda from “sailing through Congress,” which is why this race matters to everyone, not just Georgians.
Find out more about Martin’s record here, and if you want to preserve any hope of a Republican filibuster, contribute to Saxby Chambliss here or at the NRSC.
