Every time I see that little man behind a desk I think of Alfred E. Neuman, and he’s about as reassuring to boot.

Why does the President elect put out these videos? This seems very strange. Has any president elect ever been this eager to override the sitting president?

He’s already resigned the Senate, but he’s not yet in the Oval Office. What’s up with the desk, flag, etc.?? Has he really got a two-month lease on some office space somewhere just to look official when making these vids?

Does anyone else see that this is just another skit from SNL? I’m still waiting for the punch line…or the line leading to the koolaide.

I and everyone for the last eight years or have been subjected to the photo-shops and the references equating George W. Bush with a lower life form.

Would it be Politically Incorrect, or even racist, if I were to now refer to Barack Hussein Obama as the CHIMPEROR? I look forward to referring to him as such over the next 4 years, and perhaps longer, so I’d really like to know.

Wait…he is doing something. Which, as always for the pathetically unqualified, frighteningly arrogant Osama Obama, means he is shooting off his mouth.

Can we deduct the two years he has been running for president and the three weeks he has been playing at being president from his four years? Please?

MrScribbler on November 27, 2008 at 4:54 PM

I thought he said “we only have one President at a time”. Sure doesn’t seem like it. I have never seen a President Elect act in such a pompous and narcissistic way. Instead of sending a press release announcing his cabinet/new government picks, he has held press conference after press conference since being elected. Seems like the most dangerous place in the USA is between Obama and a camera.

Also, I posted the above to Hopenchange’s Youtube channel with this video, and it wasn’t posted. Free speech is dead.

During the last 8 years, the Left has called President Bush “Bushhitler”, accused him of war crimes, called him a drunkard, etc. Dissent is the element of democracy not found in other regimes. Your use of the word respect is not accurate. I think you really mean deference, which is completely different.

“I’m going to get a mission to Mars OR fund more telescope-based exploration!”

“I’m going to have a go to the Superbowl OR have a season that isn’t the worst on record.”

Or, essentially what any US Senator says…

“I’m going to run for President and get into the White House OR continue serving my constituents from my Senatorial position.”

Nethicus on November 27, 2008 at 6:04 PM

Why does the President elect put out these videos? This seems very strange. Has any president elect ever been this eager to override the sitting president?

Count to 10 on November 27, 2008 at 3:09 PM

It’s a knee-jerk response for anyone to think it’s strange. We have been conditioned to think the Republican’s whining (”We can’t get our message out because of the media”) is truthful. When actually the silent Republicans don’t want to put their face on a conservative message and fight the liberal hordes.

Anytime it’s been brought up on HotAir that Rep should be utilizing modern technology (that is mostly free) to destroy the Leftists, there is always a majority that mocks that idea, saying that noone uses the internet, they only watch CNN.

Obama is laughing at these morons. I despise him, but he is good on this stuff, and totally within his bounds. It just doesn’t seem so due to our conditioning of the intentionally silent republican politicians (except for the fizzled “drill here, drill now” that lasted for a few weeks). They let conservative talk radio do their “dirty work” for them, but that is a complete failure. They’ll never learn!

Obama was probably saying “why isn’t anyone doing this? Are they cowards? I can’t believe they are not crushing us and exposing our lies in these readily available formats. Why is HotAir and other conservative blogs not doing videos anymore? Hmmmm…. I guess I’ll step up and they can all whine like babies, while being crushed like ants.”

But not Osama Obama, oh no! He’s large and in charge! And he reminds us of that, daily.

He has done nothing in his entire life to merit the power the voters just gave him. He deserves no respect; he parlayed a dark skin into an undeserved “career.”

If he manages to do anything worthy of respect, I will begin to respect him. Until then, I consider the office of the President vacant between Jan. 20, ‘09 and Jan. 20, ‘13.

He’s the duly-elected President. You want change, become change.

That was in response to my crack about your lame use of “my friends”?

Tell your goat I said “congratulations.”

I can’t wait for the Christmas speech:

‘Twas the night before Christmas, in the White House,
We were hopin’ for change, but all we got was this louse.
Share the wealth he told us, so oh, what the heck,
Redistribute my money, I’ll write you a check.

wish you people would show our President-elect some respect.
Whether you and I like it or not (and we don’t), he’s going to have to lead us.
I say, give him some time and watchdog him.
Be grateful you live in America, my friends. PLEASE!

I will never show Obama ANY respect whatsoever. He will intentionally attempt to destroy the US as we know it.

I don’t want him to lead us. I want him to fail miserably and not be able to execute anything of the socialist/Marxist policies he has promoted. I hope he fails miserably in his quest to make the US defenseless against terrorist attacks, and his promise to cut the military spending and defense systems. I wish him the worse, which will be the best thing that ever happened for the US.

You and McCain can snuggle up to Obama and the Leftists all you want. Feel free to welcome the soft tyranny with open arms and keep silent, until it’s too late. Good plan comrade!

I plan to show him the same respect and consideration that the Democrats showed to George Bush, no more, no less.
