Forget pardoning the turkey. It tastes a lot better than watching the Lions and Seahawks play. The compassionate thing to do would be to combine the team into the Sealions and hunt them to extinction…. (or at least to the point no one has to be troubled about them any more, like WA state is about to do with sealions).

Not necessarily buying into your comments though I think there is a whole hell of a lot that Obama never has admitted concerning his upbringing.

A couple of practical questions though:

1. Are you really willing to have Joe Biden running this nation? Obama knows he’s an idiot and is compensating for that indisputable fact. Biden thinks he is a seasoned statesman.

2. Do you really think a Senate slapping each other on the backs for electing “the black one” will be willing to do what is necessary to pursue perjury charges?

3. Finally, one of the hallmarks of the American political system is our peaceful transfer of power despite the fact we are about to see a rock solid conservative (on most issues that matter) turn over control to a terrorist and felon loving racist who played around with Islam as a youth. Is it really wise to throw in technicalities that should have been vetted out before now?

Not sure how the whole birth certificate thing is going to play out, but as to your points:

1) Biden as president: the single biggest reason why even people who distrust Obama might think twice about seeing him disqualified.
2) The Senate is more likely to erupt in outrage that Obama was questioned about a “technicality” than pursue perjury charges
3) If Obama knew he was not qualified to run for president, and ran anyway, then I have no sympathy for the “technicality.” This is not just a technicality, it’s one of a very few actual requirements for the presidency. We need to stick to the Constitution. Even if it results in a Joe Biden presidency.

Let’s see, it couldn’t be the Democrats, both elected and their cronies with gigantic bonuses at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, had anything to do with the subprime mortgage disaster. Therefore, it must have been Bush’s fault for both causing it and attempting to devise a plan that would keep our financial system from collapsing. Oh, yeah, there have been excesses, including huge bonuses given to banking and investment company executives. So, let’s just let it all collapse, then Obama can bring back the CCC and WPA, etc. And surely not one of the bureaucrats running them will make huge bonuses. Conservatism will itself collapse from the consistent derision of one of the best, kindest, and most honorable presidents we’ve had in my 64 years of life. With the brains to do more than just say BUT.

So, let me see if I have this right:
A rap singer who was convicted of cocaine trafficking- pardoned.
Two turkeys (literally)- pardoned.
Two railroaded Border patrol Agents in 23 hour lockdown and isolation for their own protection- rotting in prison.
My respect for the president is evaporating faster than whiskey on hot asphalt.

There is a super strange chain of events unfolding around The One:

And Im not talking about being elected POTUS with a thin resume.

Most say it is simply the failure to provide the birth certificate and medical records he is being sued over that makes it seem that something is amok. But there are subtle hints that he is either an illegal president-elect or something else is very wrong.

There is also the development of so many liberals childishly calling for his immediate installment and his frantic demonstration of his ability to lead (and keep the center happy) in day to day events. Both activities somewhat ignoring the Constitution. When you ignore a law, you cheapen it.

And finally, there are the obviously false statements (”I am from Kansas”) and his sould mate, Chris Matthews calling him “a gift from the world to us”.

The One should realize that $20 for records and FedEx is cheaper than a half dozen lawyers and support working for weeks. If the media were not so lame they would perchance warn him that he could be preparing to damage the entire nation with an illegal gambit and if it leads to horrible consequences for the nation, it may make the tsunami that hit George W. Bush look like a soft rain.

It’s not only turkeys who have been plucked this season.
Bush must make an appearance on MSLSD today, because I’m sure somewhere somehow turkeys are even now being killed despite Pres Bush’s pardon. And don’t you notice that the pardoned bird had WHITE feathers. Why this is a RACIST affront to the Office of the President Elect. It is code language telling America that so long as Bush is in office,
WHITE turkeys will be treated better than black and brown ones. Get the ACLU. We must get the kill rates of black and brown turkeys vis a vis white ones, because we are sure some white turkey supremacist plot is afoot.

Yes, GWB’s people kept America safe after 9/11/01, but he will still take a place in the history books as a free-spending hypocrite who kowtowed to his Mexican buddies every time their interests differed from ours.

I know that will provoke outrage from the Bush-supporters, but it happens to be true.

Unfortunately, I fear that he will come across as a combination of Abe Lincoln, George Washington and Teddy Roosevelt when compared to Osama Obama.

The only thing I’m looking for next year is watching the President-for-Life “pardoning a turkey.” It’ll probably be named Tony Rezko.
