Saxby’s campaign has sent out a lot of negative campaign stuff. He’s spent a lot of time breaking down Martin as opposed to building himself up. It didn’t seem like he would need to go that route to win an election in Ga, but maybe he did. I generally like Saxby, but I think his campaign fouled this one up a little bit.

This week, perhaps the best negative campaigning one could do against Jim Martin would be to go up to anyone wearing red and black and say “Jim Martin is rooting for Tech!” Then go find folks sporting white and old gold and exclaim “Jim Martin says the Bulldogs will win easily!”
