All that gag shows is a total lack of respect for another person passing itself off as entertainment, or comedic enterainment.

Sarah Palin clearly has the lion's share of integrity in this display, while the not-so-funny radio station loons come off as boorish, disgusting oafs.

Why only one half of the ticket you ask? That's because that ad was sponsored by the "Our Country Deserves Better" PAC. Shamnesty is not a part of their agenda.

funny!

Why no thanks for Mac? I think Mac's staffers, with their cowardly anonymous hits on Palin, made their own boss look bad and squandered whatever goodwill he had remaining with the base.

See the idiotic fools on the left who are stuck on this cult of personality with Obama and his empty rhetoric have a counterpart on the right.

This commercial is idiotic and of course appeals to the lowest common denominator, idiots.

I'll give it this, the commercial was a good argument about the sorry state of the public school system.

Any reason why there’s no companion clip for McCain?

Because we don't like him!

McCain fans (all 3 of them) can make their own video if they so choose. Judging from the turnout of his boring speeches it will be a very lukewarm show of support if they did :)

Because McCain has (or at least tried) to implemented policy that does not reflect mainstream republican values.

See McCain-Feingold, Amnesty, Global Warming Populism, etc.

The man needs to resign.

Allah,

Because Governor Sarah Palin is a Conservative. John McCain is a Moderate with lots of bad ideas, look at his history in the Senate, he calls bi partisanship, and I call collusion.

I am an Independent, I stated over the campaign, I am voting for Sarah Palin and Cindy McCain's husband. I kept getting told to get down off the fence, and make a choice. I did after John McCain chose Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate. When the Left started attacking her and smearing her, I knew she was the real deal, and anything the Socialist despise or are afraid of is Good for Me.

I don't care if it is George W Bush or Barack H Obama, I am repulsed by SOCIALISM in any guise...like a manufactured financial crisis, that appears to have the desired results of the Government, taking over Private Sector in the guise of saving the Republic - From What?

The smooth talking, teleprompter reading Obama, gonna give us some sugar "Stimulus Package" to help the Socialist Medicine go down?

Remember the LEGACY argument through out the Democrat Primary Bush 41 Clinton 42 Bush 43 Clinton 44. Well 44 Is Barack Obama but look at his Administration it might as well be Clinton...so how about that, the same two families ruling the Country for how many years now? Bi Partisanship or Collusion. There is a difference. I hardly think this is what the founders of our Republic had in mind.

Why is no one thanking McCain, as far as I can tell he is falling into line with both George W Bush, and Barack H Obama Clinton's agenda The New World Order.

Because we wanted a real conservative to run for president, and it looked as though we’d have to settle for McCain. He should be thanking Sarah too, for doing as well as he did.

Sarah Palin deserves this if for no other reason than for the onslaught of negative enuendo and scrutiny she endured from the media in a 9 week period compared to the clowns that had been in this race for over a year and really gave us nothing.

Perhaps because my eye still hurts from all those times he stuck his finger in it.

She is the only reason I voted for that ticket.

Like it says in the video, "At a time when so many politicians seemed to have let us down, you've given us hope." McCain is one who "seemed to have let us down" with immigration, McCain-Feingold, etc. etc. Sarah Palin is the only reason McCain even did as well as he did and she should be thanked.

We need to thank both McCain and Palin. John McCain will never be President, but he is a true war hero and (which is extremely rare these days) an HONEST Senator. He also deserves credit for bringing Sarah Palin to the national stage (maybe too early for her own good). McCain, at age 72, knew that 2008 was his last chance to become President, but like an athlete about to retire, he passed his torch to a brilliant understudy, who would otherwise be marginalized in Alaska.

McCain lost this campaign because he tried to be TOO noble and was not willing to attack Obama where he was weak--his radical, socialist, and sleazy ties in Chicago and his myriad changes in position over the summer--if he had, McCain could have been 10 points ahead in the polls by the convention, and could have won in the fall despite the bank failures. After the bank failures, McCain failed to explain to the voters that the roots of the economic crisis were DEMOCRATS forcing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to lend too much money to insolvent borrowers, a practice started by Barack Obama in Chicago and spread nationwide by the Clinton Administration. John McCain is a great man, but a poor campaigner. When faced with a slick sleazemaster, you've got to fight hard, and sometimes dirty. John McCain essentially repeated Bob Dole's campaign against Bill Clinton in 1996, with similar results.

Sarah Palin did inspire the Republican campaign, but she was unprepared for the media onslaught against her, and she only had nine weeks to get her message out, unlike Obama (who had been campaigning for nearly two years) and McCain and Biden, who had been known nationally for decades. But she is young and smart, fearless and incorruptible, and if Obama and the Democrat Congress lurch too far left and bring our country to a Carteresque crisis (including an energy crisis), her message will make lots of sense to the voters in 2010 or 2012.

Sarah Palin lost a bid for the Vice Presidency, and is still Governor of Alaska. Other candidates have lost elections and come back to become President, such as Richard Nixon (lost in 1960, won in 1968) and Ronald Reagan (lost the primaries in 1976, elected President in 1980).

It took a Carter disaster to bring us President Reagan. Maybe it takes a President Obama to bring us President Palin.

Because for all his talk about fighting for what's important and putting country first, when it came to fighting the Obama campaign, McCain held back and didn't put everything into it. He blinked.

Palin, on the other hand, was (and still is) fearless.

We should be thankful to McCain for bringing Palin front and center. Beyond that he blew it.

Why limit this thanks to one-half of the ticket?

Perhaps because my eye still hurts from all those times he stuck his finger in it.

She is the only reason I voted for that ticket.

AP, you can thank McCain all day for losing to your candidate, the big eared goblin, but I won't. I do thank Governor Palin for all that she did and will do.
Thanks, Sarahcuda, you rock!

Why limit this thanks to one-half of the ticket?

McCain has been thanked thousands of time for what he did for his country. If you think he deserves another several thousand thanks for it, I won’t argue with you.

As for what he did for his party, he deserves a swift kick in the ass. If you say he deserves another several thousand, I not only won’t argue with you, I will patiently stand in line for my turn!

I think this is fair. The fact that he refused to really go on the offense on serious issues like Freddy-Mae and Rev Wright, and then let Palin twist in the wind while members of his staff smeared her is also reason to exclude him from any such praise.

She never shot a moose. She shot caribou. And caribou chili tastes like, well, chili.

As for the "thank you vid", I agree with them. John McCain sucked, Sarah rocked. We did just what McCain's mom said we would - we held our noses and voted for him. There is no wonder at all why he lost. He would have lost by a gigantic landslide if it weren't for Sarah.
