I’ve kept up with some of the PUMA sites and the reaction to her as SoS is mixed. A good number of them feel she’s the best choice Obama could make and are happy for her. They feel that at least Obama would have ONE competent person in his Cabinet.

But there’s also a good number who think that he’s doing it to negate her power. If she stays in the Senate, she remains her own person and Kennedy offered her the lead on healthcare which is important to her. If she takes the SoS position, she has to carry out the whims of the President. She serves at his pleasure and can either be the scapegoat for any foreign policy blunders HE makes or can be fired anytime he feels she’s getting too powerful.

Personally, I think Obama IS trying to put her and Bill on a leash but I feel it will blow up on him.

I must admit to feeling a guilty pleasure that the poor poor progressives aren’t getting much that they were promised. That’s what they get for voting for an empty suit who has NO core positions of his own. ‘Hope’ and ‘Change’ indeed.

Obama doesn’t care if Americans are killed. He has an agenda, which is to turn the country socialist/communist. If a few thousand American lives are lost in the process, so be it. You are fooling yourself if you think Obama gives a damn about your life.

But at this point, progressives are getting absolutely nothing from Obama

Geez you have to be pretty far to the left to think Daschle, Clinton and Rahm Emanuel are not left enough.

He keeps appointing Clinton folk, and the far left won’t like him either.

Yep, if the Clintonistas were wanted, they’d have voted them in in the primaries. Seems the Clintonistas are getting the best of both worlds; pick of the litter on cabinet positions etc. Whats happened is Obamski is so inexperienced he doesnt have the connections, so the Clintonistas said ‘oh here we’ll stock you up with people’. So, Hillary can still stay out of the spotlight and still work her magic she does so well, oops I mean black magic, well maybe not ‘black’ magic, bad play on words there. :)

One slier of good wiht him picking Clintonista retreads is he’ll only be in 4 years with that crap. :)
