Nice try? What did I try? I think you’re confused, about me and Perot.

My point, the two party system is a disaster because there is no check and balance mechanism. Perot wanted action on problems. The system has learned nothing through the interventions of billionaires. It has learned nothing losing and winning elections. It is hopelessly corrupt and needs action outside the structure. Perot understood that, in a good way. Soros understands that in a bad way.

What is your contribution to solutions?

After it goes to the courts, it could come down to who has the most gidas to pay the parasite lawyers.

I’d also never entertain the thought that some one might be bought off…or anything. Not a judge..or anything…

How does spending money help you win a RECOUNT?
Everyone has already voted and all that’s being done is the “recounting” of those votes. It’s not like people are going to get a chance to vote again.

nice try; I understand your affection for Ross, but he warped the system. The Founders envisioned–or hoped for–a NO party system, but for over two hundred years our system has been based on two parties ( as are most large stable democracies ). If you look at the occasional elections where there was a third party, they were times of crisis: 1968, 1912, 1860

Perot could have entered the Republican primaries against Bush I in 1992, and with his money he would have made his views widely known. Instead he held court on CNN, who were very happy to help him damage Republicans. He bought half-hour info-mercials to bypass the system, and got Clinton elected with 43 % of the vote. He was still trying to be a ‘player’ in 1994, and Pero-tistas ran in several Congressional districts that year.

Ummmm…help shouldn’t matter either way. The vote count should already be determined, and all that is to be clarified is the totals. “Helping” could only mean eliminating votes that aren’t helpful to your side.

Oh wait. That’s right. I’m talking about George F’ing Soros. It doesn’t matter what the vote count is, it matters how much the guy can f’ing spend to bribe everyone necessary to ensure the person he supports wins.

Perot was disgusted with the Republicans inability to tackle problems. His primary focus has always been viability of our economic model and government.

Our founding fathers did not envision a two party system, feeling that polarization would tear the country apart. They were right.

Perot was benign, Soros is malignant. His lobbyists structured McCain Feingold to do just what it has done.

A third party would be the balance that is needed to accomplish what needs to be done. The system does not now work at all.

No wonder there are so damn many lawyers at each counting site. Today they had about 20 and Coleman had 1 at our place in Minneapolis.

Even if he’s outnumbered, he seems to be doing a good job. The Coleman team has challenged 105 ballots, and Franken’s team has challenged 59 ballots in Hennepin County. Statewide, it’s 273 ballot challenges for Coleman, 194 for Franken. Hope they stay on their toes throughout the recount!

I didn’t say they were the same; I said they both used their fortures to warp the system. Perot may have loved America and Soros may hate it, but Perot was driven by his ego and his hatred of Bush in 1992; in 1996 there was nothing but ego and craziness left.

In 1992, Perot pulled out of the race on the day Bill Clinton was nominated; he stated that the Democratic nominee and platform were to his liking. He got back in the race when it looked like Clinton might possibly lose.

His goal was not to help his country, but to ruin a Republican president and get a Democrat elected

Ideally neither Perot nor Soros should have been able to do what they have done–regardless of their real or alleged motives

I volunteer down in Hastings.. actually pretty quiet…. they can’t complain when the ballots are clean. But you are right… many lawyers for Frankenstein and that doofus tool Alan Miller and his dumb dog were there…. I hate that guy.

I believe someone thought this up as a way to produce a little bit of chaos before the election and it got out of hand.

Soros was playing with the oil futures. That was his assignment, to help drive up oil before the election. Had to quit, though, when it backfired and he lost a bundle.

He did it in 2006 and 2004 also.

Evil man. yes.

There will be no investigations though, because the Dem/Coms run the committees – and are indebted to Soros the Evil.
