Shocking video proves: Football tailgaters can be boorish

Via Breitbart. If she’d tried this in a Giants jersey at an Eagles game, there might have been an actual felony committed.
I shouldn’t snark. She’s a brave woman to wear Tide gear under the circumstances and the written account seems genuinely harrowing in points. But, er … if you’ve got video of people spitting and dropping the C-bomb, why not use it? A minor concession, perhaps, to limit how radioactive she’ll be around campus once this expose starts to circulate?
Exit question: What would have happened to a guy who tried this? Content warning.

Alabama/LSU… largest single gathering of white trash since the Lynyrd Skynyrd/Molly Hatchet tour.
OK, seriously… at least it’s not Michigan/OSU.

I smell corndogs.

I was at the tailgate and all we did to Bama fans was a few friendly Tiger Bait cheers…. Of course we fed them some of the best jambalaya and gave them beer. Really tough. Everyone had a good time. Of course I don’t usually venture to where the college kids tailgate.
If you notice most of those interviewed were probably drunk college kids. Unfortunately the F-word has become part of everyday vernacular.
We did warn them that Saban would leave them as soon as he got a better offer.

I was born and raised in Louisiana (not far from LSU) and currently live in deep south Alabama and there is no better place to be an LSU fan. The only team Alabama and Auburn hate worse than each other is LSU.
That being said, I am amazed by the number of LSU fans here in Alabama.

Or, with Yankees gear in Boston. Talk about unhinged.

You’re surprised by this? It’s LSU. Dem coonass cajun’s have been drinking since the night before, and they’ll keep drinking all day and into the next.
I went to a A&M-LSU game in Red Stick, and felt lucky to get out alive when we won. Earlier in the day, I’d driven around campus to get a feel for the layout, and the best places to park. I had an A&M sticker on my car, and this little-old grandmotherly-looking “lady” yelled F*ck you, Aggie.
To quote Johnny Cash: what could I do? so I smiled and waved and kept on going.

Hey look guys, class warfare on Hot Air! Yay!

But I’m moving to Alabama in about six months… guess I’ll have to keep my ears open for those banjos, huh? Wait, no, it’s perfectly civilized.
ROLL TIDE!

As a Tennessee fan that has been to three SEC Championship Games in Atlanta, the LSU fans were by far the worst. Even the Gator fans in the Swamp weren’t that bad. And this is nothing new, my dad went to UT in the early 60’s and the LSU fans had the reputation as the most ill-mannered fans even back then.
That having been said, Alabama fans deserve everything they get. Heh

Pulease it is LSU vs Bama… of course there is gonna be bad blood. LSU vs Auburn absolutly..
But LSU vs Tulan, Ark or even Ole Miss.. not so much..
Not that I like LSU, but cut them some slack.

I’m guessing that both sets of fans are more familiar with Larry the Cable Guy than Larry David.
‘Bama fan said:
“LSU? Ell-Ess-You? What-couldn’t they buy a vowel?”
That’s right.

Doug, is this a bad thing?
Honestly, would you rather watch football with Larry the Cable Guy or Larry David. We already watch football with Larry David on MNF. Or is that Tony Kornheiser?

I was at the Auburn-LSU game this year. I overheard an Auburn fan yell out “LS-WHO?” An LSU fan said “National Champions.” Hey, when you’re right, you’re right. Can’t argue with that logic.

Man, these big football schools don’t teach the scientific method these days, do they? A selected sampling of drunk college students at one game, supporting one team, engage in trashtalk. Thus, all LSU fans must be idiots.
At least they stopped there, instead of following through on the idiocy to extrapolate about all Southerners or all football fans. Just as well no one’s going to draw conclusions about HotAir readers in a similar fash– ohwait.

Awesome! New proof that the Red Raider student section is only the second worst!
I would notify my students but then they would just try harder and reinforce their tortillas with aluminum or razors.
Man, I’m stoked about the OU game–I wish I could go!

Like what? A thirteenth national championship?
Squiggy on November 20, 2008 at 8:06 PM
Aw, what happened man? I mean Wyoming beat us. We played four quarterbacks. You guys are qualified for a bowl game. We suck. Too cold for you guys or something?

Wow, way to show some class there Notre Dame fans. In other news: go SEC! It’s a shame that one of them will be knocked out of the BCS title game since they’ll probably play for the SEC title (assuming both win their final games of course). Maybe if Bama loses to Florida they’ll just switch them in the rankings. Well, an SEC fan can dream right?
