Video: Terrorist whines about Fox News

posted at 2:35 pm on November 18, 2008 by Allahpundit
Share on Facebook | printer-friendly

I’ll leave you to guess whether the audience applauded. Remember, by some leading leftist lights, FNC is “worse than Al Qaeda.” Think of this as a “terrorist” calling out the real terrorists.

WaPo covered this last night and, for once, challenged his assertion that the Weathermen never killed anyone — parenthetically. Exit question: Does attempting to blow up a dance hall filled with U.S. soldiers count, or are they the “real terrorists” too? Exit answer via WaPo: “‘As long as I’ve opened the door about terrorism, let me say one other thing,’ Ayers added, before saying several other things — such as the Sept. 11 attacks were ‘vile,’ but the ‘flattening of Fallujah’ by the U.S. military was also a form of ‘terrorism.’”

Blowback

He’s trying to be a martyr.

William Wallace was a martyr. Bill Ayers, you’re no William Wallace.

Isn’t it interesting that this idiot is griping about his civil rights?

What a clod! He’s not even a respectable low-life. Can’t even live up to his own convictions.

Speaking of convictions….

kybowexar on November 18, 2008 at 2:39 PM

Fallujah was never “flattened”, if it had been we wouldn’t have lost eighty Marines taking the city; it would have actually been flattened.

By Ayer’s pinheaded logic, police kicking down the door of a crackhouse would be “terrorism.” I hate Ayers and I have nothing but contempt for Odummy because of his associations with such such a pig.

NeoKong on November 18, 2008 at 2:40 PM

It pains me that I have to look at this cretin, and it’s truly unbelievable we have a president who has spent many an hour with this man. It’s really a testament to how lost we are, in terms of national identity, that a terrorist like this can have a national stage, get tenure, etc, and be taken seriously at all. Freaking sad, really sad.

does anyone else find it ironic that someone who tried to bring down America through violent revolution (Dohrn’s words, not mine) because of their evil capitalist ways…

can manipulate the capitalist system so well?

Would love to see how much money from the re-release of his book will be given to those poor incarcerated teenagers that Ayers loves to lionize.

Almost as ironic as when the attempted cop killer shrunk away from a big bad Fox News reporter and called the cops to get them off his ‘property’,the notion of which wouldn’t be legit in the communist utopia he’s working towards.

leetpriest on November 18, 2008 at 2:47 PM

As noted in the headlines, Mr. Ayers should kiss Fox’s hindquarters because they are the only media outlet to acknowledge him. They are probably responsible for any or all current infamy he is now enjoying and can probably add to his bottom line in the republication of his books. Kind of a crybaby for a terrorist.

Cindy Munford on November 18, 2008 at 2:47 PM

Ummm…who is this guy?

From the scant media coverage he got prior to the election (for some odd reason we’re not sure of), I’m not exactly sure who he could be. And if he has no ties to Obama, as we were led to believe, then why is he only emerging now?

Can anybody interviewing this mystery person that Obama had nothing to do with tell us why we should care about him?

I DO know from that same media coverage, however, that Sarah Palin is TEH SUXOR, and bought some clothes once.

Damn you, FAUX NEWS!! DAMN YOU TO HELL!!

Bishop on November 18, 2008 at 2:39 PM

Not flattening Fallujah allowed the ‘insurgency’ to gain credibility. Mookie should have been worm food. By flattening Fallujah, the US would have sent a clear message that we aren’t taking any shit. But that was a moment lost, and we paid dearly for that mistake in judgement and strategy.

hippie_chucker,

It is not a matter of how “lost” we are, it is a matter of how willingly misled and gullible some people are. These people are the poster children for the following quote from Hamilton; “Those who stand for nothing fall for anything.”

We have seen these types of people before. Lining the streets of Vienna, Munich, Nuremberg and Berlin and tossing flowers at their “messiah”.

We have also seen these types of people 30 years ago. Decaying in the jungle heat after committing “revolutionary suicide” for their messiah.

I am sure you have some resident Obamaworshipers near you. Take a good look at their eyes when they “wax poetic” about their “messiah”, then go and look at the pictures of the crowds on the streets in Berlin, Vienna or Nuremberg. You will see the same blank expression in both.

Nahanni on November 18, 2008 at 2:56 PM

The fact that this scumbag traitor is still alive, let alone free, says half about what is plaguing our country. The election of the idiot messiah speaks to the other half of the problem. The fact that they are buddies just goes above and beyond anything even remotely reasonable.

Gird your loins.

upinak on November 18, 2008 at 2:43 PM

Technically, Ayers wasn’t the guy with a bomb in his hand. He left it to his girlfriends to do the dangerous work for him. Guy was as much a pussy then as he is now.

I’m struck by how self-involved and narcissistic this Ayers character is, and how thrilled he is to be in the spotlight. He’s like the Phoebe Price of domestic terrorists.

He was, for a few weeks at least, No Drama Ayers. No wonder he and Obama got along. Meanwhile, that comes from a long and interesting interview with Walter Shapiro in which Bill Ayers says many sensible things and many interesting things and even a few wise things and he does not, at any point, betray a desire to blow up the Pentagon, or reveal that Obama has any plans to do so.

Ayers’ complaining about his rights reminds me of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of 9/11, after he was caught when he was cockily refusing to answer questions because he was expecting to get a lawyer first.

Terrorists know the routine, don’t they?

SteveMG on November 18, 2008 at 3:10 PM

HornetSting on November 18, 2008 at 3:11 PM

Always happy to hear Mr. Ayers speak. He seems to be quite patriotic, actually. By listening to him, there’s no hint that he might have, at SOME point, thought that America’s governmental structures were less than desirable. His complete change of heart lends no clue from which even a mighty intellect such as Barack Obama could deduce Ayers’ past minor indiscretions.

From an old blog post of mine:

To quote Weaselzippers:

Ass-ploding irony…

Domestic terrorist Bill Ayers whines: “I’m becoming the target of a terrorist attack…” From “Kill the pig!” to “Help! Police!”The man who has spent his life hiding behind women – forcing a former girlfriend to succumb to rape by a black roommate so she could prove she wasn’t a bigot, sending out another – Diana Oughton – to blow herself up while trying to kill others, hiding behind the piece of work who is his current wife – Bernardine Dohrn, an even more heinous human than himself – this pathetic, cowardly specimen of a man is now complaining about a couple of emails and Palin and cries of ‘kill him’ that even the Secret Service categorically denied ever happened.  Crying victim and lecturing others on virtue.

Oh the ass-ploding irony all right.

And notice how, as FBI informant Larry Grathwold predicted, you have now begun to hear lots from Ayers.

Notice how suddenly, the Pravda press who couldn’t find him or his blog for two years is now treating him like red carpet material, even giving him op-ed space and labelling him “distinguished professor” – more like one of the 101 Most Dangerous Academics.

Notice how suddenly, all of Obama’s other slimy associates are out.

The article by the ex girlfriend, written in 2006 has enough leads for an intrepid reporter to follow – room mates, shrinks, etc who can corrobarate her story and expose Ayers for the absolute dirtbag that he is.

One thing puzzles me. Ayers attacks were against the Kennedy/Johnson administrations, weren’t they? It was those two who got us into and totally screwed up the Vietnam war–and it was Nixon who finally got us out. If Ayers is really true to his beliefs, then he might have more in common with Timothy McVeigh than is apparent at first blush. It’s just possible that he, like McVeigh, is a Republican.

The Weathermen were not an anti Vietnam group. Funny how in a few years – or was that in the course of an election campaign – and thanks to Obama shills like the New York Times, Weather Underground morphed into an anti-war group – the most violent Weather Underground bombings occured after the Vietnamese ceasefire agreement.

They were radicals out to overthrow the U.S. government, capitalism, whatever else crossed their drug-addled heads. Read Grathwold’s interview. They even seriously discussed genocide of 25 million Americans.

His complete change of heart lends no clue from which even a mighty intellect such as Barack Obama could deduce Ayers’ past minor indiscretions.

Yep because he figured out that he could get a six figure job and tenure at the university and get gullible latte liberals to shell out money to hear his rambling lectures and buy his incoherent books. For a radical Communist bent on the violent destruction of the American system, he sure does understand capitalism.

Bill Ayers is asking for it with these public appearances. Let’s hope he gets his soon!
