Bad case of cynophobia, eh?

My collie says:

Judging by the level of intolerance, I’d say HornetSting is a liberal.
Let’s provoke him some more and see what falls out.

CyberCipher on November 18, 2008 at 7:04 PM

My domestic shorthair says:

No, just a bad case of ablutophobia. Hate water.

Hornetsting and I despise being mistaken as men. Blech.

We both know that collie makes a great pa’te.

d1carter on November 18, 2008 at 7:33 PM

My Dalmation says: “Give me some steak tips you lay POS. STAT!”
I say, good for Shep. No to the bailout. Let them file chapter 11 like other companies in such a mess.

Geronimo on November 18, 2008 at 7:33 PM

It’s just flat out common sense.

Blaise on November 18, 2008 at 7:36 PM

The e-mail accuses shep of being anti-union. Shep is against the bailout, apparently.
I didn’t like how he treated Joe the Plumber, but he’s appropriately testy with the email sent from the UAW.
UAW be damned, down with the unions!
Especially the NEA.

Shep must be feeling the ratings heat because he’s been more hysterical than usual lately.
Or else he’s having female problems.
I know, it’s too easy.

jjshaka on November 18, 2008 at 7:49 PM

How much longer is fox going to put up with this Idiot ?????

thmcbb on November 18, 2008 at 7:53 PM

Right on Shep! This is the first. Don’t usually care for him. But, he is right. No bail out!

sheebe on November 18, 2008 at 7:57 PM

Wow, Shep just moved up a little in my book.

So are you like the queen hornet, or just a drone?

Divalicious!

SouthernGent on November 18, 2008 at 9:15 PM

Dude, is Shep a conservative?

It takes a shaky conservative foundation to pose that one.

Stephen M on November 18, 2008 at 9:29 PM

Divalicious!

SouthernGent on November 18, 2008 at 9:15 PM

Heh.

Guessing what, precisely, (n/t AP) what Shep Smith is has become a sort of cottage industry here.

We’ve had him as a conservative Dem, a red-blooded conservative, a homosexual, a wife-beater, a liberal subterfuge, a flamer, a whiny bitch, etc.

I think a Southern Gent has it right, though. He’s got a bit of the diva in him, and he almost certainly views himself as an unbiased reporter of fact, if a little self-righteous.

I can only stomach him in very small doses.

Jaibones on November 18, 2008 at 10:01 PM

Again, I cannot access the johnnydollar link. Is it something with Vista?

reshas1 on November 18, 2008 at 10:07 PM

its ok Shep. Its time for another network to emerge that will be like FOxNews used to be. The MSM is done, caput!

johnnyU on November 18, 2008 at 10:21 PM

It’s called ratings sweeps, folks.

The Ugly American on November 18, 2008 at 10:21 PM

Shepard Smith reminds me of an barking chihuahua. Annoying as He//. Or maybe just a bratty little third grader.

I do agree with him. DO NOT hand over taxpayer money to the big 3 auto makers. Absolutely NOT! Let capitalism work!!

purgatory on November 18, 2008 at 10:55 PM

I don’t even like the term ‘bailout’. From now on it should be called ‘embezzlement’ with respect to Congress’ actions and ‘extortion’ with respect to the companies’ demands.

progressoverpeace on November 18, 2008 at 5:54 PM

You mean like, Give me all your money, or I’ll blow up the economy? I’d call that a terroristic threat.

james23 on November 18, 2008 at 11:19 PM

Not a Shemp fan. Curley is way better.

james23 on November 18, 2008 at 11:23 PM

shep is a drama queen……a drama queen
who cant read worth $hit

tamtam20 on November 18, 2008 at 11:55 PM

Shep is close the the mark. Businesses succeed because they make good decision and provide a service or product people want. Businesses fail for exactly the opposite reasons. Unions (in the case of UAW at least) demand and get pay and benefits that pushes the price of their products to the point that their product is no longer competative price wise.

I think unions did a lot of good things to improve working conditions of all American’s. But somewhere along the way, they crossed the line of self interest into greed.

And now it’s all taxpayer’s responsibility to bail them out? Hey UAW, you made the bed, you lie in it.

Hog Wild on November 18, 2008 at 11:59 PM

Had the hots for Shemp at the start of the war. Got tired of him during Katrina. Moved back to middle (with a little bit of hots) about a year ago. Then the election, hated his liberal horse-sh**. Now what??? Oh heck I quit. He is eye candy but that is about it.

HawaiiLwyr on November 19, 2008 at 12:18 AM

He’s right.
BUT,THE BIND SQUIRREL OFTEN FINDS AN ACORN.

nimrod on November 19, 2008 at 6:04 AM

Shep is still a moron. I don’t care what he thinks about the bailout. He was a moron during Katrina. He was a moron about Joe the Plumber. He was a moron when he stated there was no media bias for Obama. My guess is he does not like the big bad money people, and that is how he sees GM and Ford.

Who cares?

Terrye on November 19, 2008 at 6:31 AM

Shep is a typical ignorant liberal. He is simply coming from the point of view that all corporations are evil. He hasn’t reached the level of liberal “maturity” to realize that socialist corporations like GM are actually OK (to libs) and need to be bailed out. It is easier to spread the wealth through socialist corporations than to waste time going to congress to get them to hand out checks.
Shep’s getting the emails right now to straighten out his thinking.

Bill in AZ on November 19, 2008 at 8:24 AM

I think he’s trying to redeem himself after his rant over media bias the other day. I’m sure Fox heard about that from some unhappy viewers. He’s been on thin ice with me since his Katrina histrionics.

rivlax on November 19, 2008 at 9:38 AM

I’m not anti-Union. I’m anti-Union leadership that holds guns to the heads of businesses and demand more money more money more money.
Unions should be about helping the line workers make equitable pay in safe working environments. Letting Union leadership set what ‘equitable pay’ should be is like letting letting robbers decide the how much loot it would be ‘fair’ to take from a bankjob.

Doug on November 19, 2008 at 11:54 AM

American automakers move their plants to Mexico after NAFTA was signed…let them rot in their own puke. The corporate millionaires are looking for a bailout because their business plans suck so much.

Newsflash: I predicted this 10 years ago. My dad’s plant (Delco/Delphi Battery in Muncie, IN) closed up shop and moved to Mexico. Then, they get a bunch of incompetent laborers and lazy engineers with no experience to try and run the plant. The laborers didn’t give a GD about the quality of the product, nor could they be bothered to care if the systems blew apart. With reduced labor costs, do you think that the price of the batteries went down?!? Hell no, bigger profit margin for GM. So, then who are the customers that are going to purchase these inferior products? The “loyal” Americans who GM put out of work? Right….take away their livlihood and then turn around and expect anyone to buy your worthless crap! I bet those guys working in the Toyota plant in KY all own Tundras, what do you want to bet?

Let the Big 3 go down in flames. Mitt Romney is right on the money with the need to change, and the first thing to go should be the morons in charge. You put Americans back to work, get the unions out of everyones’ ass and you’ll soon be back in business and thriving again.

New slogan for the RNC: No More Bailouts!
